Same man. I used to not like JJ. But the more I watch. This guy needs to be in purple. I was a huge Penix guy, then Daniels. But I don’t think we can risk the Penix injuries, and I now have JJ higher than Daniels.

@@GoatedAtNFS yes. Heisman winners mean nothing. Daniels is good and I’d be happy with him. But JJ won the national title, was the only QB of the top 6 that called line of scrimmage shifts. Has the strongest arm, 61 MPH at the combine (4th highest ever). Runs a 4.45 but prefers pocket passing like all elite QBs should. He’s 20 years old, has a winning mindset, great footwork, reads defenses better than anyone else in the class (only tops up would be with Penix). I’d be happy with either on the Vikings. And for months had Daniels above JJ. But now, I have JJ ahead. And that feeling is getting stronger by the day.

Look at all the guys Spielman drafted: Jefferson, Darrisaw, Smith, Diggs, Griffen, Kendricks, etc. Smith and Jefferson are likely HOF players. Kwesi has hit on 2 players in 2 drafts. 2 yrs ago, weeks before the draft, Spielman said he'd draft Hamilton if he was still with the Vikings. He was spot on. Kwesi gets fleeced by the Lions in the trade AND drafts a bust like Cine. Even the Hockenson trade looks like a win for the Lions considering what they ended up with.
