As a disabled person who’s rarely able to leave the house my cats are truly what keeps me going most days, can’t imagine the hole you’re feeling right now, when you’re stuck somewhere, having something as bright and beautiful as a cat to brighten up the place makes a place home. Jellie was truly a special girl and she did such a wonderful job while she was here! She stole the hearts of thousands, animals like that don’t come along often xx

I'm currently showing to a friend how to play Minecraft and to show her how incredible a Minecraft community can be, I loaded up the Hermitcraft Season 7 map. Seconds after entering the town hall to show her the diamond throne, I heard a meow and my heart instanly broke in two. 💔😢 But it made me realize that Jellie will always be with us in our hearts and on these archived maps; she'll always be ready to welcome you to the Mayor's office or to watch over the shopping district atop the diamond throne. She indeed is the Queen of Minecraft and will always be in our hearts ❤

Once upon a time, i had a grey and white tabby that got me through some years as a disabled person. My kitty, Hayune, died of saddle frombrosis (not sure if that's how it's spelt) in 2020. He was a kitten in 2016 - had an extremely short life, and there was nothing i could do except end his suffering at the vet's suggestion. I was a new player to minecraft around near a year later when i discovered cats in minecraft. Therein a village, i saw a grey and white kitty that looked so much like the one i lost! I tamed it and brought them home, many times, nicknamed after my boy. I did further digging about cat spawn rates, only to find out this was a Jellie Cat, and that Jellie is the reason i was able to meet my boy again, even just digitally. I would become an avid watcher of hermitcraft, and mostly you, Scar, around the end of season 8. Both you and jellie brought me comfort and joy even when grief would grab me out of the blue. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. But Jellie truly is immortal in her digital form, and i hope having that ability to see her again will bring comfort instead of pain, just like i had been brought. As someone wise once said - grief is simply love with nowhere to go.

Scar and your family were the best owner she could’ve had. She didn’t look 17, genuinely I thought she was 14. I knew she was getting old but she didn’t look or act that old in the pictures and times I saw her in clips. You took amazing care of her

I lost my kitty this autumn. She helped me recover from addiction, and she would calm me when my cognitive dysfunction acted up and anxiety spiked. She was the best kitty, just like your Jellie was as well. It is tough to not be able to turn to the very being whom could make you feel better. I saw this video in my feed today and my heart dropped and now I'm just crying my way through typing this. I'm sorry for your loss, Scar. She was clearly loved, and a beautiful kitty. But today, I think she could hear the sorrow in your voice, Scar, and she watched intently for nearly the whole video, even when Jellie wasn't on screen. So I am sharing her love to you through this comment. The Jellie Cat in Minecraft has been my favourite due to the similar appearance to a cat I lost far too young. Through her model, I found a small measure of joy. May Jellie's memory be a blessing.

My husband as a jack Russell x chihuahua and she has helped him since she was a puppy she knows with his pain/ptsd she will snuggle under his chin or always be on his lap. I can't imagine losing such an amazing pet like Jellie, she will forever be loved and appreciated.

I am also a disabled person. I had a small orange cat called Apollo. Apollo was a very cuddly boy, he loved hugs and kisses and he would lick my chin and sleep with me in my bed... Apollo had a disease, it made his body deteriorate like mine, and it also gave him chronic pain like me, and it weakened his immune system. I held him in my arms as he passed away, like I did for his brother Helios, singing the same song. You Are My Sunshine, My Only Sunshine. I used to call them both my Suns, because they were named after sun gods... I miss them, and I still shed a tear every time I remember that I couldn't do anything but hold them in my arms and sing as they passed away. But that's how I wanna go when I finally give up or my body does, being held, and someone singing to me, telling me they love me.
