And a completely overblown sign stealing operation that hasn't even been directly linked to him yet? And that wasn't the hypocrites at the NCAA who suspended him at the end of the regular season it was his own coward of a conference president in his first year on the job who bowed to pressure from other teams in the conference (several of whom were ALSO stealing Michigan's signs). There are coaches who have done FAR worse than Harbaugh has been accused of.

To comment on something in the Saban segment, as a Michigan fan I both agree totally about the selflessness aspect and I'm convinced that personality will begin to matter more than ever in recruiting. Many schools (almost all, tbh) would recruit a kid that was all-world levels of talent but they'd ignore that he was a walking red flag. The mentality would be "All we gotta do is keep him out of trouble and eligible when he's not playing football". And so that's what they'd do. Now that money is above board and persistent free agency is a reality you'll see the personality matter A LOT more than it used to. Yes, he may have Heisman talent but he's a walking red flag so do we want to waste the personal and financial resources recruiting him just to have him transfer because we yelled at him in practice? And so on. It'll matter going forward when it never really used to. Finally, I wish someone would mention that a lot of the NIL anger is from coaches that lost a major competitive edge. I'm a bit sick of Dabo and Saban crying about NIL when it's so blatantly clear that everyone being able to openly pay kids hurt them. It's harder to recruit and win when everyone can pay the kids now. Yet, nobody in the media is mentioning this whenever they decry it's existence.
@paulcooper1046

Kids with red flags have to play somewhere. They will still be pursued heavily. You have to be three years removed from your high school class to declare for the NFL Draft.

Another word for Brooks. Waited his turn behind Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson. Even then, showed explosiveness in limited touches. Averaged over 6 ypc, 12 per reception with 7 TD’s in 54 touches in spot duty. Broke out in 2023 with 187-1139-6.1 ypc-10 TD’s, 25 catches-286, 1 TD. Fast enough, powerful enough, glider and slasher, makes guys miss, good hands, good team guy. Assuming reasonable recovery from injury, a lot to offer in the league.

I think your assessment of talent vs team is spot-on, and UM winning it all should be taken as good news for smaller program players. To take it back to the homefront, this next season is going to be so pivotal for Ohio State. They've spent upwards of $7 million to bring in transfer talent and I have genuine doubts about their team culture. Michigan is going to be way out-gunned in the next matchup, but, if Moore can hold the team true to its philosophies and pull out another victory, OSU is going to have an explosion similar to Michigan's post-Lloyd Carr era.

I disagree with the statement that Michigan by proxy was more committed or devoted than a UGA. Michigan are the champs, no problem. UGA has been the epitome of a committed, unified program. One 3 point loss to Bama in a championship game on the back of a muffed trick play turnover in the shadow of their endzone doesn’t erase that. Michigan beat Bama but has never been able to beat UGA, and they have had a couple of opportunities to do it. If roles were reversed, I doubt Michigan would finish the season the way UGA did in the Orange Bowl. That was the best illustration of how dedicated and committed a program could be when they had NOTHING to play for. That’s my only gripe

People are talking about Dallas Turner like he's just an athlete who blew it up at the combine. As if he wasn't one of the most productive edge rushers the past two seasons in college football. He's not Trevon Walker or Nolan Smith who had little to no production, only showed flashes and just showed up to the combine and wowed people. DT has put a lot of elite production on tape. That's why I have him as my number one defender too. It's elite production to go along with off the charts testing. You combine those two together and you have a top 10 worthy edge rusher.

I’m a huge college football and I can’t wait to play cfb25. I don’t know how they will put nil in dynasty mode but it sounds fun. Now back to the video, these contracts Joel are they guaranteed for the players. Cause if they are let’s say you sign 3 years guaranteed. The kid doesn’t live up to the deal Alabama cuts him. I think that would be giving the universities too much power.

He is massively underestimating his audience. He does a football podcast which means most of his fans r football players who likely eat and sleep at the gym 😂😂 10 reps for 225 is easy. He needs to leave it at 20 or at least 15 or he is gonna be spending a insane amount of money on hats 😂😂
