I can’t believe voices like this are sitting around their houses not realizing how amazing they are.

Wow, wow, wow. The talent this season is off the charts. How can we even pick the best. Julia is in the top three and could win the whole thing. But it doesn’t matter what happens after this performance. Record deal, concert contract, hit song after hit song is coming for Julia. That was just another whole level above everyone else.

This is a very very difficult song to sing perfectly even if you are not emotional. It is super easy to become pitchy. Very gutsy performance by Julia. I love her. She is awesome.

love this big song choice. Some really good melody changes with all the heart and soul I could want. Some of the bigger moments didn't quite gel for her, a little struggle. Not her best but she was so emotional, broke down in the end. Moving

It’s difficult for ANYONE to cover a Fantasia song, and I can’t say that Julia quite measured up vocally. But her stage presence and emotional commitment to delivering the song definitely was Fantasia-esq. I’m going to keep an eye out for this girl!

I freaking love this song choice! At first I was like oh no this is going to be bad until I heard Julia sing it. I am a huge fan of Fantastia, and I am also a huge fan of Julia. Julia is a powerhouse vocalist who would take on hard songs. She should continue with that, and she gave a fantastic performance. I felt every word she sang and she had me standing up and throwing my shoes. Those runs? Yes ma'am! You betta sang! That was her best performance of the season! Flawless job! There is nothing I didn't like about this as I loved all of it even her control is amazing! I need to cover this song. I relate to it.

You can’t stop them from breaking down, especially from hearing their stories, however, this is a live competition and in the beginning judges may choose based off the sadness pain strength in your voice, but not in every song will it get you far far, nevertheless, she made it thru and she was decent, just a little off on some notes

I think something is wrong with the sound team today. Several contestants sounded more off than usual. If they can’t hear themselves correctly through the earpiece, they will be off key and off pitch no matter how good they are. It happened to Mariah Carey during that infamous New Years performance and she straight up refused to sing and I don’t blame her. People don’t understand the physics of why singers can’t hear themselves on stage without a functional Earpiece. I’ve heard enough of her previous performances to know that she is not the problem.

Everyone did great last night (I wish the wild card was back to give someone a second chance) when i see a negative channel talking bad about Season 24 or even last yrs contestants I press dont recommend that channel. your all performing in front of millions i couldnt do it.❤

It had its peaks and its valleys, but there’s potential and we may see more of that when she’s not emotional. I will say personally I found the song to be the incorrect choice, it’s a massive undertaking and can swallow the contestant whole if not arranged correctly. Again, solid and powerful moments throughout but overall it felts just okay.

Great voice! I like how she made it her own. However, I feel like she can do better with the high notes - it sounds flat at times. For example at 1:23 , she was quite getting there but it didn’t really land

Mostly phenomenal, but lost the big part toward the end. I thought she missed the note(s). I think she cried because she was thinking how she screwed up. I don't listen to the judges' comments and only know what I hear on my small speaker. She has incredible potential & is Top 10 this season as far as I'm concerned. She just needs a drop of help with some big notes.

Not her best song choice or performance, and I don't mean her breaking down. I just don't think she was up for the challenges of this song, even if she did identify with it emotionally. She has a great voice and needs to pick songs that showcase it better while projecting a more upbeat mood if she wants to continue connecting with her audience.
