I would like to thank Fry & Laurie for the character of the nonsensical shopkeeper. I have channelled that character many times when I get scam phone calls regarding car crashes I have been involved in, or court cases against me by the Tax office. They usually hang up on me when I call on Mr Dalliard, and never call back for some strange reason.

And I know quite a lot of people who are very interested in model making, I don’t have the money or the skill personally, I don’t see how people can paint so finely and detailed, and get every bit of it accurate and perfect. But some of my friends have built and painted models, I was thinking of buying some premade models.

I am American, and I had never heard of his role as in the House show, nor even knew anything about that series, until I started reading amazed comments by people who were stunned he'd been in anything BUT that show. I've never heard his American accent.
