I know it sounds crazy that he doesn't feel like Chandler hurt him much outside of those early leg kicks. But clearly his threshold for damage is different. I mean, look at the guy. He looks like he's feeling fine after a total war. He's talking clearly. His thinking is sharp. How is this guy not punch drunk or brain dead? UFC gloves are thinner than Nicole Ritchie. Dude has the skull of a ram. Meanwhile, Michael Chandler needs all the king horses and all the kings men to put him back together again. Pretty insane

I'm sure no one in the top five would shy away from a tough fight. Khabiby is a "tough" fight but most likely won't ruin your body or leave you with brain damage.

He’s ranked number 2 , number 1 and the champ are fighting next month , Justin just beat number 4. The next closest ranking is Benny at number 3 who’s best win is T Ferg who was ranked 6 coming off two loses (one to Justin) , then Islam who is on a 9 fight win streak which the only top 10 opponent on that 9 fight win streak was a ranked 6 Dan hooker who is 1-3 in his last 3 with that 1 win being over a unranked guy. So Justin has is the highest ranked , with the highest ranked recent win , while also facing the toughest opposition out of the available contenders.

That fight can honesty go either way but I’m going with gathje because he isn’t gonna stand infront of Dustin and let him Punch him in the ribs and constantly hit him up top with combos Anymore. Hats off to Gaethje and Chandler for putting on such a fantastic show for their fans at UFC 268, as expected. Definitely one of the best MMA fights I've seen in a very long time. It is my humble opinion that the matchup between Poirier and Gaethje is almost identical to the Usman Vs Covington rivalry. Both Usman and Poirier have the edge in punching power and they will win every time. I predict Dustin beats Oliveira for the championship on Dec. 11. He also beats Gaethje in 2022.

Gaethje wouldn't even take that fight, as he basically said during this interview. He only wants a favorable matchup like Chandler, or a payday like Poirier if Poirier loses. I don't blame him for it. I blame the fake news MMA media for pushing him as number one Contender off a 1 fight winning streak

The cool thing about Gaethje is he never ever looks rattled. He doesn't look rattled walking to the cage ,in it. Ever. Some fighters look like they are super concerned with what's about to go down. I definitely don't think Poirier stops after beating Charles though. A 3rd McGregor fight is out there he recently said he's open to. Late 2022 👍 No belt on the line ... obviously.

why is he talking about the integrity of the sport as if Islam does not deserve a chance to fight for the title when he is on a 9 fight win streak in the toughest division. He finished 3 of his last fights in dominant way, has he struggled to find opponents because higher ranks do not want to fight him, they consider him a threat. Justin just fought for the interim when Tony was supposed to fight, had the chance to fight one the greatest of all time, and fell short, now off 1 competitive fight that he did not finish, he believes that he earned the right to fight for the belt again. Let him fight Islam and see who deserves between the two. Less demands, less talk, and more action. Because 9 fight win streak in the ufc to me is still as impressive, same reason why we campaign for a Leon Edwards title shot in the welterweight division.

Petr Yan vs Corey sandhagen was a way better fight. Heck the rose weli fight was better. How 2 guys just throwing haymakers in a MMA fight is considered fight of the year is beyond me.
