The guy failed on the first 2 attempts for the backflip at the end of the fight. Pushed the guy walking in the octagon to dry his hands off and went for it again. Nailed it. This pretty much sums up Gaethje as a person. If he's able to walk, he's going for it.

I used to big flips off of sea walls at the beach. After about 500 or so I finallover rotated a front flip and broke my big toe lol . That's why back flips are so much easier . U land on your heels & not your big toe

8:46 really feels like a big momentum shift. Michael hits Justin with some really big shots, but Justin just instantly starts walking him down again. As Michael takes a deep breath and retreats back toward the cage again, I almost sense a feeling of dread from Michael, like "I've hit this guy with everything I've got, how is he still coming?". Then it turns out to be the beginning of the end for Michael. This fight never gets old, all-time classic.

Without a doubt, my favorite MMA fight of all time...the will is incredible...the power shots from both guys have such viscous intent behind them...and that come back from Gaethje is so unpredictable and furious, it should be on a monument...damn, I love this fuckin war

Gaethje was asking to get upper cut or kneed up the middle this fight the way he was shelling up and dipping his head but classic Johnson.

I will forever respect Michael Johnson for stepping in there and throwing down with JG. These guys went straight at it as soon as the round 1 started.
