My absolutely beautiful girlfriend died last week at only 23, I sent this video to her parents and at the service as they rolled her casket in this video played to open the service today.. such a beautiful song we used to play almost everyday now will be forever stuck in my heart as the most meaningful song in my life. Was the last concert we just saw together in Richmond va... and will forever bring me to steady tears everytime I hear it but just can't stop playing.. thank you to kaleo for making some of the most moving music ever comprised and rip to my baby Brooke 💛

I am sorry for your loss, I bet Brooke was a wonderful person. This song means alot to me as well. I learned this song with my grandma when she was teaching me guitar and I wanted to sing this at my grandma's funeral when she passed last year but I broke down and couldn't sing it... still regret that to this day.🥺

@@Pluto_13434O They we’re absolutely amazing, when he started to sing that voice , I’ve never been to see a band before when a young man behind me said when he started “ my god that voice “ it really is incredible. My favourites are Backbone , Skinny and I walk on water , his voice gives you shivers down your spine . I’ve waited so long to see them so I went to two concerts the Birmingham and the London one I was quite close to him at the Birmingham gig so I’m glad I went to that one

I remember that back in 2018, I desperately needed a band that I could really connect to. Like a BAD musical identity crisis. Browsing through my brother's music library, A/B's cover art caught my eye and I listened to one song. Then the next, the next, and so on... I ended up listening to that album for the rest of the day on loop, and since that moment, I knew I had found my band. KALEO's music has been a part of my life ever since. I re-listen to some of those tracks from A/B, and I realize just how far I've come, how much has changed or stayed the same, and how much I've grown since when I first discovered them. When music just sticks around with you, changes and evolves depending on what's going on in your life, you know you've found something special. A part of you, that has the strange quality to be something completely external and foreign to you, all at once. Their art has really been a blessing to me. Thank you for creating these wonderful tunes🔥🧡

I got to see Kaleo live in March and it was amazing! But side note, what you described is what Noah Gundersen did for me. I recommend his music, especially the Carry The Ghost album and before, as a part 2 of your healing. Listening now, it reminds me of how many dark places I’ve left behind 🤍

You know when they say someone has a beautiful touch to their art? This is JJ and his voice. Every millisecond of his voice in Kaleos music seems absolutely intentional. Listen to him carefully, the light and shade, the breaks, smoothness and edges....there is a lot of intention in the way he sings every word. I'll never forget I was working at a gym during the night shift at 10 pm. All of a sudden, this dude came out of the locker room looking like a million bucks. I was badically like dude, what are you lookin so fly for and he said he had a concert. He proceeded to tell me the bands name. They were playing at asmall venue in Vermont. Didn't think much of it and a few months later, they blew up. Super cool day in my life

Saw them live at History in Toronto and was blown away by how their stage sound matches their album sound. Love every one of these Icelandic music videos - the patriotism is real!
