It’s so clear he is the most alike his character out of any of the cast. Not that he’s a prick, but his mannerisms and inability to take compliments while deflecting with humor are indistinguishable from how he plays Roman.

Schitt's Creek my wife and I watched on a whim after passing it over so many times... What a mistake, show is utterly brilliant and profoundly moving. One of my all time favorites. All involved knocked it out of the park.

One of my favorites too! Just rewatched it recently and was convinced the creators were inspired by Igby Goes Down and cast Kieran. The brother, Oliver, has a similar issue of numbness as Kendall. (But since they wanted him as Greg, clearly not!)

Kendall’s rap fixation and hyper attitude using buzzy terms and being bossy is definitely his “Roman side” coming out. I bet it would be like that just turned up to ten. Love the way it came together though because he seems like the older brother. Kendall is an interesting character who clearly has some of his father in him but also has his own style.

Damn. I noticed almost all the characters in Succession are just like themselves in real life (hopefully not the ahole part of their characters 😆). Jeremy Strong is very Kendall like… his mannerisms and his way of speaking is just like Kendall. Brian Cox is very, very Logan lol and Kieran is very, very Roman.

I feel like the chair thing is because he’s short and small, if he sat normally, he’d be more overshadowed by the people he’s with, but comfortably sitting in eccentric ways means that the rules don’t apply to him, which makes his status more obvious.
