I love the esthetics of this knife and the scabbard you made for it. Out of all the knife and sword builds I watched during the pandemic and after, this is probably my favorite.

а то что ручка на клею и от воды рассыпится и можно остать ся с кучей деталей вместо ножа не пугает 😂 это просто понты а не работа

@@user-td4xz1yo5p Дружище,наверняка ты прав,и думаю, что ковать ножи, всё таки сложнее, а этот мастер не только его закалил, но и рукоятку сделал шикарную. Всё таки танто сделать это умение иметь нужно.

本来の刃紋は性質の違う金属同士の差異で発生しますが、このビデオでは焼入れするときの工夫で刃紋を再現していますね 見た目が美しいです👍

I love how you used a white line in the dark wood. I usually just use a pencil line on dark wood and squint.

Nice work as always! I do miss your older videos with a lot less machining - showing you don't need really high end equipment- but you have so many of those and proved that point already so its neat to see you doing some interesting builds. Also I really like seeing you use a metal cutting bandsaw instead of the angle grinder- to me thats one of the first machines (after belt grinder) any knifemaker should buy. Angle grinders are too dangerous.

nice work! you probably hear that a lot, but may i ask why you dont properly forge your knives like a blade smith? it wastes way less material, creates a stronger, more flexible blade and i also imagine forging work to be much more fun and less dirty than grinding tons of steel away... just curious.
