Law and Order: SVU Flashback! Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay's Pre-Premiere Interview

ET spoke with Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay in 1999 about how ‘Special Victims Unit’ planned to forge its own path in the ‘Law and Order’ universe. Meloni and Hargitay also revealed their chemistry was evident from the beginning after they walked into their final screen test together ‘laughing.’ Meloni is returning to the world of 'SVU' with a new spinoff centered around his character, Elliot Stabler, set to premiere this fall on NBC.

When every episode of SVU used to be amazing. The writing along with those new detectives are becoming worse season after season, never has been the same since Chris Meloni and Dann Florek left the show.
