My dad has alzheimer and my mother told me he used to like this song. When I played it for him … He got up and started dancing while singing the melody

This song always brings me to tears. First marriage lasted 17yrs with her leaving me and our two children we had children late they were still young. Single dad 5 years met the ONE I have been married with for 30 years. Now with kids gone and grandchildren most grown. I found my one to dance to the end of love with and will play this song at our departure. We are truly still in love. I'm 72 she is 66, we still flirt.

I used to hear this song in the psychiatric unit, while they were trying to save my life after a suicide attempt, there were horses running images, on the tv, while they were trying to bring me back...whenever I hear this song, I remember the pain I felt, and also the will I felt wanting to have one more chance to life.

I don't know who is listening to this piece of art. But if you are here is because you can see beyond time. Mr. Cohen saw beyond time, therefore his lyrics and music is timeless. He got inspired by his access to different culture and believes, but maintaining his roots. What a gift from heavens.! ♥♥♥♥♥forever Leonard Cohen!!!!

Wanted to dance with this song on my 50th wedding anniversary but my love passed away 4 months prior. All my fav songs are by Lennard Cohen, his poetry grips your heart and soul.

Wow, what a song. Who doesn't want to dance to the end of love. I married my husband in four days, we went out on a Tuesday and married on Saturday that week-end. We are still aging together (81 and 76) and I feel like we have danced to the end of love. And since passion turned into love and now love has become stronger, I'm caring for him since he can no longer walk. We'll get there, to the end of love. We have been married for 49 years. It's hasn't been easy but it was worth it. This song runs through the story of our lives.

on December 7th my wife of 21 years passed peacefully in my arms, I cannot thank Leonard Cohen enough for this beautiful song which carried us through the last few days of her life..We danced till the end of our love. Till we meet again my Hilda, rest in peace. and may you too, Leonard, Rest in peace..

I am a poet, And I consider myself quite good. However, listening to Leonard Cohen sing 'Dance me to the end of love' fills me with humility, and an overwhelming fullness of beauty! The talent to put your feelings into words and express yourself through music, well, it's a God thing!
