@mayallyourbaconburn71334 роки тому
Box Five I do not see how that rules out all the knowlegde they gathered on the moon. I also do not see the use it would have to lie about it. They might hide something I do not doubt that. But faking going to the moon seems a useless feed to me when. I’m not saying you’re wrong I just don’t see it the same. All the information they gathered in space has been very important for science and our knowledge of our own world and body. I simply don’t see the use when lying would risk getting exposed by the science community. But I don’t deny a posibilityof what you said. It’s not like I’m not open for a different perspective.

I was just stating what one astronaut said about why we haven't been back, and it didn't make much sense at all. The lie could be to control people's thoughts, control money flow, control a narrative, science in general is so unproven but that's also what makes it exciting to be alive right now when truth does break through the theories.

F1 cars are pulling up to 8 Gs under peak braking. It causes the fluid in their tear ducts to get pulled out...and splat against the visors inside their helmets. Also, the lateral Gs are in some ways more physically demanding. When Lewis was an F1 rookie...he had a 14" collar....now...18" from dealing with the loads. Pilot/Astronaut Gs are generally positive (heavier into seat) or negative (pulling up on belts). Lateral Gs are physically hard to deal with because your head flops over.

To put into perspective, all the F1 cars that ever existed, combined, have less horse power than the Saturn V first stage.

It's interesting to see Lewis Hamilton speak to people who have piloted things much much faster than any F1 car could ever go, seeing as the minimum exit velocity for anything leaving the atmosphere is at least 25,000 miles per hour.
@tinasheroy5 років тому
Not to take anything away from astronauts, trust me, they are heroes to me but it is 25000 mph without any sharp cornering or split second reaction times.
@IReallyMissCybertron5 років тому
@@tinasheroy Oh of course none of us mean any offense, and it's not a competition. But as an aside, those pilots are also jet pilots, who do corners as sharp as F1 cars can from the same speed to beyond the speed of sound, in a 3d environment, pulling Gs multiple to that of the car. As he mentioned in the video, I hope Lewis does get permission to go fly in that jet with that one pilot he was speaking to. They're still active duty fighter pilots who fly and do missions several times a week. Lewis deserves that joy and he'll always be one of the greatest drivers of all time. His wonderment in this video is well-warranted and inspiring, and it does a lot in motivating more young people to go into the sciences.
@tinasheroy5 років тому
@@IReallyMissCybertron In the early days of space flight definitely but I read somewhere that most astronauts these days are scientists.
@IReallyMissCybertron5 років тому
@@tinasheroy In each astronaut class, including the most recent one (Astronaut Group 22, 2017) they will have at least four pilots. Class 22 itself has three astronauts whose background are as US Military test pilots. At 11:25 Lewis talks about being a perfectionist and also having a thrill for speed. He mentions that because those astronauts he's speaking to are also jet pilots, and he then mentions that one of those pilots is flying an actual sortie later that day and he's trying to get permission to tag along. Most pilots in NASA's history (and all of the current ones) are Active Duty military personnel, and are still required to keep their skills sharp even if they haven't been in a warzone for a couple of years.
@IReallyMissCybertron5 років тому
@@tinasheroy Even many of the non-pilots have seemingly impossible resumes, like Jonny Kim, a highly experienced US Navy SEAL sniper, combat medic, mathematician, Harvard Medical School graduate, emergency trauma doctor, and now is also an Astronaut Candidate. Astronauts are seen as heroes for a very good reason, especially to those in the science community, and Lewis is showing that huge heart of his in that, no matter how old, accomplished, and successful you are, you can still be at awe at the projects that push the boundaries of humanity ever forward.

When Lewis was talking to the astronaut about what age they went to be a test pilot it made me think that I'd love to see how well F1 Drivers would do in G-Lock training. Considering they're already pretty peak athletes, it'd be an interesting watch.
