Sims 4 modders, I have a request: Could you swap the ball pit texture with a huge pile of spaghetti, for my own sanity? Because the way that portion of the pit wobbles and wiggles it reminds me of a big bowl of pasta anyway, and while I know pasta isn't flat either it's a helluva lot more flat than big plastic balls are so it makes more sense to me. You could even leave the few ball models in there and just make them look like meatballs. Spaghetti and meatball pit solves the problem, at least in comparison to what we have now. Thank you. It's amazing how quickly that ball pit was attacked by modders. I've already found three retextures/remeshes for it.

I hate this logic that 'EA didn't have to make this stuff pack for us, lets see you do it better' logic that many fans have. It's a stuffpack a division of a massive company made for us to pay for. Sure it's nice but it could have been included in the original patch or parenthood.

That ballpit seems like one of those ideas that looks really well on paper, but is super hard to actually model or would be too resource heavy. But at that point somebody is supposed to say: ''Maybe we should put something else in instead.''

The only reason i was excited for this stuff pack is because it comes with an LGR review

The Sims 4 has had 22 add on packs since release let that sink in...

In my opinion The Sims 4 provides some basic simming experince for the people new to the series but it doesn't give anything new to the people like me who've played The Sims 2 and 3 for hundreds of hours. I hope and pray for The Sims 5 to happen and somehow add new, mindblowing gaming elements to it to satisfy veteran players and newcomers alike.

The ball pit looks like it was made for Sims FreePlay but they ran out of things for this pack and used it instead.

You know, the texture actually reminds me of a certain ball pit in a 90's ps1 game... Toy Story 2: Buzz lightyear to the rescue! Level 8, Al's space land. there is a ball pit to the right of the spawn down a hallway that has the same quality texture...

I love how even when you give a harsh review, you still find positive things to mention when giving a critique. It's so easy for some youtubers to basically rip apart everything and say something is "literally the worst"

I remember when I saw that ball pit in the teaser video, I actually said out loud 'how fucking lazy is that?!' It moves like water, dammit! On the bright side, I am actually optimistic for the Cats & Dogs pack. I think the pets will be much lower maintenance this time, meaning they may actually be worth having.

The ballpit is basically a pool with textures of balls instead of water and then they added some balls flying around. I wish they'd just make it a toddler pool instead lmao.

Love how honest your Sims reviews always are - always rely on these for purchasing advice! Haven't found any others that lament the new packs' shortcomings (to this extent), love it! Why are we already on more stuff packs than any of the other Sims games ever had?!

In my opinion this pack was absolutely worth it for the hairstyles alone. I play toddlers a LOT so increasing the variety goes a long way for me.

But I got to say even if you didn't care so much for this one, I just got to say due to your review it TOTALLY SOLD ME on getting this one not just for m my own self but for my son [who pretty much wants me to purchase nearly ALL OF THEM,,,,,hehehehe]. I started off by watching the sims 3 reviews for the expansion packs I didn't have and I'm thankful u did these vids for those too.
