I run Linux personally but occasionally I am called on to have a look at Windows systems that are having shall we say problems? So my opinion is going to be somewhat colored by my experiences. All of that having been said though I love the thought that Windows is so, "easy". It is easy until it isn't. I don't find troubleshooting Windows particularly easy myself. The tools just aren't there. Fortunately for me though I'm the type that's just good at problem solving. So I stand a better chance at making things work than most do. Which is why I'm that guy. The noise level in technical discussions about WIndows is horrendous too. It's like the blind leading the blind out there. Google is just going to dredge up countless rubes who can't fix things either.

Wayland, Mutter, Kwin and Xwayland just merged Explicit Sync. This improves AMD GPU and finally fixes all stutters coming from Nvidia GPUs. Nvidia 555 driver (next may 15th) will come with the patch to use this. Finally AMD and Nvidia will have a perfect performance (though it already was for AMD and close for Nvidia)

2:25 if you were playing the natively supported game on linux with performant kernel it even gives more fps than windows

Linux is objectively a better system, However there is still a need for windows despite Microsoft's continued efforts to alienate users

With all due respect. Linux just does not work. Linux takes up all my time just to troubleshoot. Where in Windows I click and it's done. The time one have to spent configuring Linux apps is just not worth it. Linux is not for you if you want to be efficient.......
