Feel like one of the craziest things about Messi is that when he shoots he barely winds up. Keepers have no chance to stop it because they have no warning. One second he's dribbling down the pitch at you, next second the ball is in the net. No warnings.

The goal against real madrid in semi final was the best for me...the best thing about that goal was that not for a single moment he reduced his pace with changing directions actually increased his pace and ball still stick to feet like magnet... i am sure not a single player can do that a lot of dribblers will stop and look and then change direction...but messi is alien he doesn't need that his ball control and quick decision making is out of this universe...and it's so beautiful and mesmerising at same time..

I am Argentine and I grew up with Maradona. I admire him and celebrate the 86 world cup but when I see Lionel I can't help but cry. This boy is not human or something happened here. He can't possibly be that good. That moment when it explodes and everything happens is the most overwhelming thing that has ever happened to me. It's just too much.

I'm a lifelong Arenal fan and watched barca beat us 2-0 at home in 2016 where Messi scored both, of course i was sad we didn't win but i felt very grateful that i got to see the greatest of all time play with my own eyes, he's even more impressive in person, the way he moves is just a bit different to everyone else, and when he gets the ball, the whole stadium goes a bit quieter, you can tell everyone is waiting to see what he is going to do

I have aged with Messi playing in Barca, now with time it feels like a part of me is coming to an end.
