Many people say this game looks like Stray, but it's honestly much more like untitled goose game, if not uncannily so. Just a larger world, more freedom of movement and a cat as the embodiment of chaos instead of a goose.

I find the comparison quite strange, to be honest. The only thing this game has in common with Stray is that both protagonists are cats. The atmosphere are completely different otherwise, not to mention Stray is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the cat risks his life to escape an underground city. Little Kitty Big City looks like a silly, cozy little adventure about a mischievous little cat just having a good time. I definitely see more "Untitled Goose Game" in this title! In fact, that was my first thought when watching gameplay. :)

I implore people to play the demo on steam. it isn’t like stray, and honestly it is very different from goose game. this game’s narrative is a cat trying to get home while screwing around along the way. Goose game was just like “come out of bush and commit felonies for a bell”

I believe it was already in development when Stray was released.@christopherjohannjr.9945 Update: LKBC was announced November 13, 2021. Stray was announced in 2020. Seeing as they were announced around the same time, they were probably already in development at the same time. One just took a little longer than the other to be released. They may put a nod to Stray, but I don't think they are trying to ride its coat tails. As said by others, I feel it's got more of an Untitled Goose Game inspiration.

@@christopherjohannjr.9945 The game was in development before Stray was even revealed. It takes some inspiration from UGG for sure. The lead developer actually had a poll on Twitter years ago when he was deciding on names for the game as well

I was curious about that, because a game releasing later than another game doesn't mean it wasn't a concept earlier. Especially with indie games some can start as a small project on the side and become something bigger, then it takes 5+ years of development all of a sudden.
