This can be simple - or complex, depending on the variety of methods employed on the route. You can select the most used method on the route / the method with most detrimental effect .. or so on. Hi … If the board is at the origin of supply - then Zdb and Ze would be the same. Ze recorded on certificate and Zdb recorded on schedule of test results. If there is a sub main between the origin and the board under test .. then Zdb is measured at board with earth disconnected - and Ze from origin recorded on the certificate.

The distribution board at the origin supplying the sub main, would also record this supply’s Zs on on it’s own schedule of test results, taken in the same manner but with the earth connected.

The board in the video is assumed not to be at the origin of supply … Hope this helps 👍🏻

Yes … we call them “Sub-Mains” when we distribute the supplies from DNO to distribution boards… and the circuits from there are “final sub-circuits” supplying current using equipment without further distribution.
