365 days I crewed on sailboats from San Diego, USA all the way down to Panama, stopping in Mexico and Costa Rica. After Panama crossing the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand stopping at islands like the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji
45 days I traveled through New Zealand from the Northernmost point to the Southernmost point, then
100 days I traveled by motorbike through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, then
365 days I traveled in my self-built campervan from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, then
365 days I traveled with this van through Iran and Pakistan, then
180 days I built an off-grid log cabin in the woods in Spain, then
180 days I restored an old sailboat in Guatemala, then
365 days I traveled with this sailboat from Guatemala to Honduras, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Grenada and more islands in the East Caribbean

Very enjoyable and relaxing vlog today. The water at the beach where you went swimming was very clear and inviting. Your first mate was really getting into cleaning and lubing the frozen winches. I am going to miss your old autopilot, it always provided your viewers with lots of good repair moments. 🙂

Love your positive attitude ‼️ Couple of pro tips for you. When towing your dinghy with the motor, always tip up the engine out of the water and you will gain at least 1/2 knt in boat speed....most likely 1 knt. Yeah!! In a rolling anchorage, try the bridle technique, which is [in brief...do some research] to tie a line to the anchor chain and tie the other end to the stern of the boat. Then let out some more anchor chain and winch in the stem end until the bow points into the swell. Hope that works for you. 👍🏻😊🙌🏻

I also think, although they can be pricey. I would suggest looking into an electric kick scooter. I've been riding nothing but that for 3 years. And I don't have to pay for anything at all. License tag insurance registration or nothing. Just a helmet. No gas :-). Small and you could keep it on the sailboat. That's what I plan on taking as a vehicle when I do get to land. You could even get a smaller one for a few hundred bucks and it would still get you 10 me or longer

Acetone is dangerous on a boat because if it leaks or spills the vapor is heavier than air and will settle in the boat and if there's a spark it can ignite

I like how you said " 3 ft under the keel;-) instead of meters like most people, because I can understand you better😂 always wanted a sailboat. But if I did get one, my type of traveling would more likely be like yours than most of the other UKposts videos I see. I just don't have the money to get expensive things and nice things all the time. But it's still possible. You paint more of a realistic View for the average person I think😎

Actually not the worst... diesel is what many use to clean up the grease and grime. I like lighter fluid and then remember to grease the bearings and oil the paws after changing the springs... boom! Do it 1 or 2x a year depending on the location sailed.

Another question, considering You as multiscilled man, how come that You dont fish, could be excelent dish few times a week...You are at sea all the time, how come You dont use its fruits!? Not only fish, shells, lobsters, crabs... Come on man... (I can help, somewhat...dont know Caribbean rooles, but most of other things yes...). You can have cheap fishing rod, not more than 50€, and a reel of similar value, that can last You a long time... Some hooks, line, and not much more ... Knife to clean the fish... (Useful but not obligatory would be lead or other weights, some artificial bates, few floats, ..), and thats it... ;)
