I was going to say the very same thing, there’s nothing that quite sounds like the Tornado!

I like the T2 sound a little better to be home, but the Tornado is definitely a sexy plane.

Are these engines that loud or is that the sound of an afterburner? On monday a Eurofighter made a loop over our city that sounded similar and was incredibly loud!

@@Felix-fy7ki Normal sound. Interesting fact: the EUropefighter engines are exactly the same size/shape as Tornado's (would actually fit in a Tornado) but has TWICE the thrust

Thats nothing against the noise of the old Buccaneer Engines. But A 440 comes near to that, easy to locate one in the thickest fog.

@@scottmeehan2422 the F-16, F-18, F-35, and f-15E could do everything the Tornado could do, the Tornado is a great aircraft, but it's nothing compared the modern variations of the f-16 and f-18 or f-15.

I was lucky enough.. a mere supply Corporal, to get a backseat with the Red Arrows. Awesome doesn't do it justice.

the f3 was a pain to work on, a mass of inaccessible pipes, and so much locking wire that your hands and arms looked like they'd been constantly attacked by cats. but these majestic old ladies were a beautiful sight to behold, a pleasure to hear and always gave you a swell of pride just being near one!
