Solution: Lie detector test combined with truth serum. Stop discrediting science and technology when it comes to lie detection and truth extrapolation.
@seraphinaaizen62783 роки тому
@@inconvenientexistenlism Lie detectors aren't science, though. The only people who advocate for lie detector tests as being useful are people trying to sell lie detector machines. The reason why they're inadmissible in a courtoom is because they're psuedoscientific garbage, and the results are entirely subjective. There are thousands of different things that can affect the outcome that have nothing whatsoever to do with the truthfulness of the person being tested. Truth serum is a problem for a couple of reasons; one, a person cannot be compelled to testify against themselves and so the argument could be made that using truth serum is unconstitutional at face value. However, that's moot because truth serum DOESN'T MAKE PEOPLE TELL THE TRUTH. What it does is make a subject very easy to coerce; their memory becomes very malleable and open to manipulation. Therefore it's actually WORSE than a lie detector, because it can makes it very easy to confess to things that they didn't do but it even becomes possibly to convince them that they did do it. If you're going to make appeals to science and technology, please read up on the actual science and technology behind these things. They don't work like they do in James Bond movies.
@inconvenientexistenlism3 роки тому
@@seraphinaaizen6278 Lie detectors may not be 100% true, but it's shown to be at least 70% true. 70% is still better than nothing, and better than greedy lawyers and HE SAID or SHE SAID as lame evidence. Combined that lie detector with the subject using truth serum in a courtroom is a far superior way of conducting interrogation. Lie detectors are used by government agencies to conduct background and honesty tests of applicants, and if it's good enough for these government agencies, there is merit. Of course, annoying human activists and criminal-loving sycophants are going to use whatever emotional excuse that could have saved an innocence or quickly prosecuted a guilty. Is truth serum and lie detector all unpopular and unorthodox, perhaps, but it's far better than what we have now of weak "witch accusation." Thankfully, the world is getting better with increasing surveillance as deterrent against criminals...then again annoying human right activists and greedy lawyers will use more lame human aka criminal rights to fight against these advancements as threats to their purpose and profession.
@seraphinaaizen62783 роки тому
@@inconvenientexistenlism "it's shown to be at least 70% true" I'm going to need to see a citation for that, because I don't believe that to be the case at all. However, it's worth noting that even if that's true, that means there's a 30% chance of it NOT being true. Are you alright with approximately 1 in 3 people being convicted based on lie detector evidence actually being innocent? "Lie detectors are used by government agencies to conduct background and honesty tests of applicants" Yes, and it's considered a MASSIVE problem that law makers have repeatedly tried to address and law enforcement agencies refuse to even look at despite all of the evidence indicating that they're not reliable. Pointing out a mistake in law enforcement is not a good argument for castrating the criminal justice system by using pseudoscience that would ABSOLUTELY send innocent people to prison if it was used in the way you are advocating. "Is truth serum and lie detector all unpopular and unorthodox, perhaps" It's not about whether it's unpopular or unorthodox. It's the fact that it DOESN'T WORK. The only thing you're going to get from using lie detector tests and 'truth serum' in a court room are a whole lot of wrongful convictions, which is exactly why they're NOT used in the way you're advocating.

he had every reason to kill his stepmother mother and he is a demon for doing so. There was an earlier comment saying that the murderer could have put gun powder on anyone and frame him. no this demon was not framed he killed his stepmother. The detectives found the shotgun shells outside his home beside the driveway. in the interview with the demon he said that he was walking to his bus stop, while doing so he " threw lint " out of his pocket, how would this demon remember that on the day of the murder he took lint out of his pocket and threw it out on the ground. Yes i believe that he did that but in the mists of the lint throwing he threw out the shotgun shells. In the report there was no sign of a break and enter buy anyone, therefore the murderer was inside with them. the sister claims before they went to school she heard a big bang identified as a gunshot noise why did the curiosity of the kids not go and investigate, I think that the demon said to his sister that everything is fine and nothing happens. the demon killed his step mom nobody else would have because they would have not left the murder wepon inside the house. The demon woke up did his morning routine, moved his guns to a strategic location, he loaded his shotgun before entering the room he went inside and shot his step mom in the back of the head immediately killing her the demon collected the shotgun shells and put them in his pocket before leaving for school. The demon was jealous thats the motive for him. if the tree trimmers would have killed her than there would have been a sign of force of entry the house would have been a mess because of the fighting they would have had but it was not there.

@Martin Martinez - Overwhelming evidence says he didn't. That's why the PA Supreme Court ruled that the evidence presented shouldn't have even been sufficient to bring the case to trial, which is why Jordan Brown's verdict was overturned and he is free now. My pick for who actually did it? Her violent ex, who'd previously made death threats against her and her family, and against whom she had filed restraining orders in the past. Jordan claims he saw a black truck parked near the house that morning. Guess what? The ex owns/owned a black truck. On top of this, when the cops went to talk to the guy, he simply said he loved her and would never hurt her, and they just took his word for it. No polygraph. No analysis of his clothing and body for DNA evidence(woman was killed with a shotgun to the back of the head, yet no blood/tissue on the gun OR Jordan OR his clothes???). Just his word + the fact that the hood of his truck """""had snow on it""""" and so there's no way he could've driven over there and murdered this woman whom he had threatened to murder in the past, hurr hurr cuz da snow would've fallen off or melted. 🤪 Okay, sure. Kid totally did it. Brilliant detective work there by the Podunk PD. 🙄

Media Stereotypes, I felt the same way, I don't know what happened that day, but it does sound like the police only had circumstantial evidence, they really rushed to arrest him in just hours without a full investigation, killers/intruders have been know to use the victims own weapon, If his dad was rich, his son would not have spent a day in jail, to me that's the sadist part.

The "investigation" (if you can call it that) is laughable. They never tested the supposed weapon he used but instead say it was a "similar" weapon. Their "new witness" was 4 years old at the time. The weapon he supposedly used had zero blood splatter or human tissue on it and they never swabed his hands for gun powder. Oh, and their other leads were quickly eliminated as suspects within less than 24 hours. They stole a boy's childhood and won't even apologize for it.

Yeah maybe? The father should have been present when the kids were interviewed. But no one would have imagined that they were interviewing the boy as a possible suspect. It's crazy to me that they could suggest that an 11 yesr old, acting out pf jealousy, could shoot the woman and just hop off to school like nothing had happened. All in a matter of moments. Even hardened killers need time to pull things together and cover their tracks. But this kid just felt nothing, no panic, nothing. It never even occurred to them to check his story about a black truck. Maybe the saintly woman with a handful of kids was having an affair? But they make a lot of money prosecuting children as adults more importantly - it advances their careers. This story is about the Injustice done to this child, not about the investigation Even if he pulled the trigger? He didn't do it - he was 11 years old On the other hand, we've got 16 - 17-year-olds beating the crap out of their parents, especially women raising teen boys on their own and the judicial system does absolutely nothing about that. It seals up those records and you have a bunch of women living in the streets, Walmart parking lots running for their lives because they're the ones who get blamed for out of control testosterone that belongs in jail Try raising kids before you pass judgment

It annoys me that all the comments are like "oh poor thing, his life was robbed from him" like guys just because someone's conviction was overturned doesn't mean they didn't kill the person. There is still a possibility that he was actually the murderer and is now walking free

That is incorrect. The shotgun shell and ammunition was consistent with the weapon that belong to the kid. It was also a gunshot residue on his hands. You tell me that's not evidence
@bentnickel74875 років тому
Steven Bodner You can get gunshot residue on your hands and clothes by picking up a gun, petting a dog that went hunting or wearing a jacket or shoes that were used in shooting a couple weeks before. You can get gunshot residue off blankets where a hunting coat was laid on a bed and as a LEO not have a clue how old the residue may be.

That's what the Demorats are doing now, your guilty untill proven innocent.
