The fact that they SAND CAST poured a brake rotor and machined it down, with a homemade blast furnace and some clapped out milling gear is absolutely amazing. And, when you take into account that they did it BAREFOOT with ZERO PPE and nobody got injured or killed, that's just mind-blowing!

I am an American and I have nothing but respect for these men for the work they do with what they have. Bless them!

I'm an American so we have developed ways to mass produce things like this and have them be perfect. But its so interesting to me to watch these guys in these underdeveloped countries produce these things on small, case by case basis and do it in less than ideal circumstances. These guys are very skilled and knowledgeable and its wild to watch them work

This should be mandatory work fare for todays college kids, so they understand what the term "work ethic" really means. God bless these hard working people.

These people are self-sustaining geniuses. They can do this for the next 100 years. Buy once, recycle forever. They can take apart a truck, extend the chassis, and make it into a 10 wheeled or 12 - or 16 wheeled trucks. Developed countries hate this. Hats off to these guys.

I started watching this video and had to watch until the end. Once they started the job, I had to see the finished product. These guys are great at what they are doing. I respect their ingenuity and skills.

my back, my feet, my head and lungs. actually got anxiety watching them work. was very cool to watch, don't get me wrong but holy crap doing all of that seems insane. just think if they had more/better tools to make it easier on themselves...they would be unstoppable. respect to them all.

Barefoot in the dark....stuff! I held my breath thinking, how do they have any toes left? This is the most basic, rustic engineering I’ve seen in some time! It is brutalisticly raw, polluting as hell and who knows how good the results really are...but..hats off for the endeavour by these hard working souls! Cheers

I do exactly this! I work for a company called Meritor (now Cummins-Meritor) where we re-manufacture brakes, drums, drive trains and other manufactured parts. You don't know how appreciative of the process I am now after watching this. We still work hard; it's a laborous job, but compared to this, we have it easy in America.

Make me realize how we in the “developed world” have things so easy”. These guys REALLY work and their skill is amazing !

I love watching these true craftsmen. I have absolutely all the respect in the world for them. But, I am still amazed how any of them still have their toes and fingers, especially their toes. They are wearing sandals for crying out loud, working with molten iron and steel. I personally learned my lesson wearing flip-flop sandals while just using an angle grinder with a flap disc. I was grinding some rust and paint off one of my projects when the flap disc caught. Ripping the angle grinder out of my hand, landing onto the top of my left foot. It literally just glanced off of the top of my foot. But it still left a 4cm long x 1cm wide x 1cm deep cut/gash requiring 10 plus stitches and leaving a pretty gnarly scar. I just wanna give these guys work boots.

My shoulders and back started to hurt just by looking at the way they work.. Respect man!!

В городе Касли, Челябинской области, Россия, было профессиональное училище. Одна из специальностей, что давалась в этом училище, было "Формовщик технического литья"... И вот это священнодействие в ролике напоминает ту технологию, которой обучались учащиеся... И еще там кажется была специальность "Литейщик"... Была при училище печь, -вагранка, где использовался кокс. На литье шел какой-то марочный чугун...А в общем, это чудо, ребята золотые руки и головы. Им бы современное оборудование... Токарный с ЧПУ....

I have a friend here in America that is from India we call him doc because he's a doctor here and he says that a lot of these videos have behind the scenes things that people don't see because of their loose clothing they get hurt a lot and sandals and everything they wear he said that a lot of times that they're loose clothing gets caught in equipment and that in the bigger factories they're not allowed to wear clothing like that that there are regulations isn't that something

I was only an accountant for years in a US malleable and ductile iron casting plant, but I was also the guy who had to work up the financial justifications for new equipment, so over the years I became a unlicensed industrial engineer by on-the-job training . Our factory made brake drums for big trucks 30 at a time and had 6 presses. You Tube University as I call it is amazing....you can learn how the other parts of the world have to do stuff the industrialized world takes for granted. Also, those of us who will admit it see that there are plenty of capable people across all borders and cultures.
