don‘t_panic - That's not true. That's been known by a lot of people (another generation) for decades. Sting also co-wrote the song

Seeing Eric Clapton was on my bucket list . What an amazing dream shot ….

Money For Nothing hit the airwaves on June 28, 1985 and Live Aid was a couple of weeks later on July 13th. A few of my college friends and I roadtripped it from south Georgia to Hollywood, Florida for that weekend. It was the peak of MTV and the 80s. Just a special time. To quote Hunter S. Thompson: It seems like a lifetime, or at least a Main Era-the kind of peak that never comes again. No explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world.

I like to watch this after after a crappy day at work. I get happy. All that talent on-stage. Amazing.
@holgerkohler61042 роки тому
I had the pleasure to see and hear each of these four several times live in concert. Each one individually is incredibly good, together live on stage must be awesome.
@barrytaylor7133Рік тому
I have to pleasure of seeing 3:of them are greatest of them are greatest!! Si bueno 😅👠🙂
@476ADРік тому
I've only had the pleasure of seeing 1 of them but I'm positive the four of them together must be like heaven on a stage
@bobbydazzler17803 роки тому
If you stand ahead of Eric Clapton on stage playing lead guitar you’ve got to be good. Mark is up to that task. And if you have Sting as a backing singer you’ve got to be good. Mark probably the only guy on the planet who could pull that double off.
@aliqasim8163 роки тому
Clapton got a couple of solos in between though
@os62193 роки тому
I love them both, but Mark is probably the better guitarist
@cherylwalkerczekala41623 роки тому

Clapton playing rhythm guitar and Collins playing drums on your set is like McCartney and Moon filling in. Fucking powerhouse of a set.
@lindsaybrown5897Рік тому
A golden age of talent that you cant replicate. I cant even deal with the royalty on the one stage WOW

Sting is actually an amazing back-up singer :) PHIL COLLINS - ”Long, Long Way to Go” / ”Take Me Home” (1985) ... ARCADIA - ”The Promise” (1985) ... DIRE STRAITS - ”Money for Nothing” (1986) ... ZIGGY MARLEY - ”One World (Not Three)” (recorded 1988, released 1995) ... SHERYL CROW - ”Always on Your Side” (2007)
