A while back in this Daredevil event (comics) _A_ Ghost Rider was Japanese/Indian (Zukato in Sanskrit means to Help 🤷) so the Japanese weapon like a Kusarigama makes sense.

Technically this is a different character. Johnny Blaze is the spirit of vengence. Robbie on the otherhand is partially possessed by a vengeful serial killer
