I can't wait to see Destruction AKA the prodigal in the second season of The Sandman, who's gonna play him?
@marleysmall7482Рік тому
Hopefully a sexy or mediocre looking buff ginger man. I hope they don't change race for this role

Some people fancast Chris Hemsworth or Karl Urban as Destruction

What about his dog Barnabas? Who should voice him? Tom Kenny, Dana Snyder, Clancy Brown, John DiMaggio or Brad Garrett

Wow. There are doubtfully many more than I who would simply love for the entire "Sandman" series to be adapted for screen, especially now having seen season one. I've no doubt that some might disagree with me, but I thought the season to be one of, if not the best adaptation of a graphic novel I've ever had the privilege of helplessly binge-watching. "Dream of a Thousand Cats/ Calliope" was as close to a perfect season finale as I could have hoped for. I have only one reservation when it comes to the development of the rest of the novels and their various stories. Neil Gaiman's close involvement in the production is SO IMPORTANT. "American Gods" season one was incredible, but I found it began to feel its impact to lessen as the seasons went on after Mr. Gaiman distanced himself a little. I hope he stays close. His attention to detail surely trumps that of at least 90 percent of the human population. 😂 Well, perhaps not 90 percent, but the man truly is a visionary.

6:20 what theme is being played? Or did he make this theme, if he did it’s smooth.

I’m kind of wondering why this is just now showing up in my feed? I’ve always been interested in the Sandman series as each character is quite unique!

2:50 Sooo, these guys are basicaly manifestations of concepts around earth. Because if an atomic bomb made on earth was his issue he is kinda of a hypocrite to the rest of the universe.
@greenxxxableРік тому
Destruction is the anthropomorphic embodiment for ALL LIVING/THINKING THINGS. So the destruction of a certain Kryptonian Planet probably made him quit.
@alltheworldsastage4785Рік тому
I've always said this, the dude was responsible for so many ancient civilizations being destroyed, for Krypton, and so many other worlds, but becomes a bitch because humanity would eventually create the nuclear bomb, doesn't make sense. But oh well, awesome series nonetheless.
@Raximus3000Рік тому
@@alltheworldsastage4785 Can't they work if they are "local" they are too human to begin with, if they have seen all of the universe things come into question. Plus there is the whole cosmic hierchy and how human magic was able to capture one of them
@greenxxxableРік тому
The A-Bomb was the last straw? Maybe the revelation that Destruction would still be a thing whether or not he remained made him leave his Realm. Maybe being an Endless means embodying the opposite side of the coin of your concept. There are many reasons one could extrapolate for this character. Hopefully one reason could be suitable.
@alltheworldsastage4785Рік тому
@@Raximus3000 I'm not sure what you mean by them being "local" but there is no such thing as "human magic" in DCComics.
@kluang1Рік тому
If the atomic bomb is the last straw, what about the Thanagarian? The Manhunters, other advanced civilizations that can blow planets on a whim?
@sorjonen8358Рік тому
The re-discovered knowledge behind the atomic bomb and the impulse of use it as a weapon was his last straw, as he said it already happened on countless ocasions, civilizations always fall from the same thirst of power and he got tired of being there and watch.

Destruction is a bit misunderstood since if he had performed his duties, catastrophic events would have taken place sooner and he would face more disdain from his siblings
