I like the decision and direction that the Marvel comics took in giving the xenomorphs a purpose. Having them be the cosmic cleansing force across the stars, keeping the order of the universe and stopping any species from having total domination regardless of their technology and capabilities makes them the ultimate creature. It tells us that they weren't created by david or the engineers it keeps them ancient and shows that no matter how advanced or strong a species is any of them that comes in contact with them will meet their ultimate demise.

Just once I would like to see one of the cosmic beings that is able to make themselves any size they want, make himself like the size of a blue hypergiant star and travel through a galaxy wreaking havoc on all of the solar systems with just his gravity, not caring about how many trillions of beings he is killing by their star and planets being pulled out of ther orbit. The-One-Before-All shows up and is 10 times his size and smacks the shit out of him. There is a mythological story out of the Middle East where there was an angel named Gabriel that was far larger than any of the other angels. He got very full of himself because he was so big and powerful. He got snarky with Allah and said something along the lines of, "Lord, after you I am the greatest in all of the universe !!!" There isn't any great being out here." Then after another 10,000 years he starts to get tired but he won't quit because he was determined to prove to Allah that he was the greatest in all the universe. Then after another 10,000 years of flying his wings fall off and he is angry and devastated. He cries out to Allah, "Why have you done this ? I have traveled further than anyone ever has and there is no great being out here !!!" Allah picks him up in His hands and brings the angel to where he is standing and says, "Now look back to where you were." The angel looks behind him and sees something absolutely massive but he can't tell what it is. So he moves back some more but it is still too big to make out what it is. He keeps moving backwards and the object starts to take on a shape that he recognizes. It is an ear. He keeps moving back and then sees that it is the ear of another angel. The angel is billions of times bigger than he is. Then Allah says, "When you started your journey you were inside of his ear." The angel realized that his pride and ego had made him arrogant and he repented. Then Gabriel asked Allah who that angel was. Allah said, "That is Raphael and he is not the greatest either. He once made the same error that you did but he was inside the Archangel Michael's ear. When Michael made the same error he was inside of my ear and I hold the universe in the palm of my hand."
