To be fair, Navis in have it easy. The RDA soldiers in Avatar were basically a Private Security Force. If Navis in Pandora were fighting a REAL ACTUAL Military with Tanks, Artillery, Fighter Jets, Bombers, Nukes, they wouldn't stand a chance.

The movie is designed to ensure the Navis always win, in reality they could easily deploy some highly lethal virus and be done with them.

I think its good to consider the fact that Earth is dying and Unobtainium is an important part of antimatter reactors-something that helps bring electricity to Earth's inhabitants.

I don’t know if anyone has thought about this. But this series is the complete antithesis of the Alien franchise. We’re the bad guys, the queen defeats the xenophobic fighter in a suit similar to how Ripley defeats the queen but the opposite. If you really look at it. This movie is the complete polar opposite of the aliens franchise

Very interesting, I wonder how much human outrage is going on back at earth. Not to mention the extreme lack of resources and worsening state of the planet that justified the use of resources, manpower and money on such an insane scale

I really hope that in the third movie it takes a completely different approach, by introducing a new protagonist, that follows in similar steps to that of Jake’s by falling in love with a Na’vi. But unlike Jake he doesn’t goes full simp and betrays Humanity, instead he mange to succeed where Jake failed, by finding a way to balance both his love life and his mission, and brings coexistence between Humans and Na’vi. Like in the anime movie Princess Mononoke. 🙂

The 2 movies were so heavy into "blue people good" and "humans BAD!" that it got to be too much, and I started rooting for the humans. And there is just no way in Hell the blue skinned tree huggers would have won. So yeah, I'm human all the way, and the blueys can die.

Bruh there's only 15-19 known tribes on Pandora thats either been in contact with the humans or been observed. Most consist of around 300 members so thats just 4000-5600 Na'vi's. Besides there are more human children on Earth then there are Na'vi's on Pandora. So am siding with the RDA on this one.

Death to na'vi

Given how I enjoyed Avatar and its sequel, and because of the sheer amount of hate these films get, I’m gonna write an alien invasion novel set in a fantasy world that represents the world of Pandora with common Fantasy elements and tropes while the alien invaders represent the hatedoms, specifically the toxic side. Edit: And before you accuse me of denying everyone’s thoughts on the movie, I would remind you that, yes, everyone can have different opinions, and I understand their complaints, but that’s just the point. The invaders are attacking and reshaping the planet to their own liking because it felt wildly inconsistent to them, much like the haters of Avatar harshly criticizing it for being too “alien” to their perspective.
