i did a fair few body and bumper mods to get these bigger 190 size mcd astromax wheels to fit on this car. The std road type tyre are smaller ( you can get a rally tread tyre and wheel pattern which look superb but i wanted the larger wheel diameter and to use what i had.
A big issue with these big bore engines is air flow... as lets face it they are air cooled. I had holed the body a bit but after this run I have gone for round 2 and made more holes in the rear and rear roof area to help get the air flow in and more importantly out of this enclosed shell!... it was getting hot at the end as you can tell.
