Best WW2 game ever, the Monte Cassino mission really is deep in my heart and when I was playing it first time, it was way more than just a game experience.

I love the story, but absolutely despised how the enemies weapons would just magically "disappear" when you kill em.

I love this game, it was actually my second game that I bought back then. At that time I already knew where I had to go and how I could eliminate the enemies. Especially the part in Sicily and Italy like Monte Cassino were my specialties.

The base game was a fantastic, challenging, and varied experience, Hell, this was the first game where I found infiltration/stealth missions to be actually fun. My only real gripe with AA being that the shotgun was utterly useless unless the Germans were kind enough to walk up and suck on the barrel, which would be a miracle considering their AI's remarkable accuracy at range. The only time I had to actually brute-force with save-scumming was Sniper Town, and that was only on account of me being literally half-blind. I also love the appearance of the relatively obscure Hi-Standard HDM pistol, though it was a touch beefy for a .22 in-game. The expansions, however, seem to completely disregard Allied Assault's strengths in favor of an ammo-starving, painful gauntlet of setpieces that do nothing except present agony to casual players. I hit a brick wall in Breakthrough at the mortar defense segment versus waves of panzers. The mortars were next to useless, as you not only had to figure out on very short notice how jank their arcs are, and then realize you don't have nearly enough bazooka rockets to deal with that, and compounded with the discovery that the rockets are utterly useless outside of a specific range. Spearhead, on the other hand, basically walled me out with the medic escort under artillery fire. Due to scripting behavior, I could not beat that segment within the 2 hours I tried. Honestly, I'd rather run my own version of those missions on a tabletop system than ever try again with either expansion.

wtf so many memories... found a CD yesterday, so I decide to refresh my impressions years after last launch.

2:07:53 was difficult, the mortar was so hard to point on target, and those tanks keep coming, one after the other. If they are too close you have to do it all over again.

Honestly what I really despise in the core of my soul about this game is the fact that: 1. I had once instance of enemy dropping his gun, otherwise you have to scour for ammo and cheese your way through the game. 2. Enemies for some reason have laser-perfect accuracy, even with pistols.

I’d love to meet the guy that had the final word on Breakthrough and ask why he thought it would be fun to have no ammo.

Playing this 1 right after Pacific Assault omg its so much better and its an older game Pacific is so buggy and unfair on realistic mode Now ima play all 3 MoHAA games and Airborne, this 1 feels like the original MoH from PS1 dunno how i skipped it for so long Maybe they'll remake the first MoH and wont be like that COD copycat Moh 2010(what a s*** game)

Medal of Honor AA (2002) was great, but the expansions are overrated: in objective comparison they suck just think of the endless spawn of enemies happening around you and behind you - the compass broken throughout the game - the parts where you just have to wait for the bombings to finish to move from one hole to another - the parts with the tank drag to complete boredom ...

I love this game but man the guy playing it is frustrating to watch, he pauses all the time and goes backwards on most maps.

ENG: Can anyone fucking explain to me why I never had a first aid kit on any missions, even on the slightest difficulty ?! I've read a comment from another person on UKposts that he encountered the same problem. I was upset and had to be treated with cheats to supplement my health, otherwise I would never have finished this data disc. Where's the mistake that I don't see first aid kits? CZE: Může mi kurva někdo vysvětlit, proč já jsem i při nejlehčí obtížnosti nikdy neměl v žádných misích lékárničky?! Už jsem četl na UKposts komentář od jiného člověka, že se se stejným problémem setkal. Jsem se naštval a musel jsem se léčit cheatama doplnění zdraví, jinak bych tenhle datadisk nikdy nedohrál. Kde je ta chyba, že se mi lékárničky nezobrazují?
