It's an international story that involves every single nation and was written by a Chinese author. Most of the entire trilogy was set in China, but this first season on Netflix is set in England and had heaps more Anglo Saxon characters added. Hu Wen is now Jack Rooney Yun Tianming is now Will Downing Wang Miao is now Augustine Salazar The secretary general of the UN is American, in the book, the secretary general of the UN was Chinese. All the major characters are Oxford graduates instead of Beijing university graduates. This happens all through the first season. It's actually been whitewashed That would be 'reverse woke' wouldn't it? Who knows? No one does. I'm over whining snowflakes who call anything against their bigotries, woke.
