As a competitive dancer, seeing those tap dancers have their moment was so refreshing. I do tap and I love seeing others enjoy the style as well, because it’s not as common to see a tapper as it used to be.

It didn’t have the absurd energy of the Nicholas Bros but it def was a legit reference and those ladies killed it with the tap. Not enough tap being worked into choreography. I argue that tap is something you can work in anywhere cause it’s much more versatile than we have allowed it to bed.

Wow. The bar has really been set low. It was a nice performance but you need to see performances in other countries. The Shakira and jlo super bowl performance was awesome. The Tap portion was modeled after the performance of The Nicholas Brothers in Stormy Weather. If y'all haven't seen it, search and look for it. It's a performance that still to this day no one could imitate. It was said so then and it's still true now BUT Megan's dancers did a wonderful job. One wouldn't expect something like that in a rap performance. I was largely impressed

Except that the music, lyrics and gratuitous booty shaking is degrading to Black women and goes back to the days of slavery when Black women were objectified and sold to white people to breastfeed their white babies. Compare this music to Whitney, Gladys or Aretha. They didnt objectify themselves. They were pure talent and didnt need to.

That's the one thing that stood out to me. They jiggle! For YEARS I'd never move to a beat in front of anyone because my thighs and butt wobble all over the place. I've always been ashamed of my large hips, thighs, and butt. They're hoppin all over looking sexy as hell and I'm like 😳 maybe I'm not "gross" like some people have said. They sure as hell aren't.
