it's so crazy how big meg is now i remember knowing about her when nobody did 😢❤️ She's always been my favorite artist and it's SO crazy watching how HUGE she's gotten in just 2 years. i always knew it would for sure happen because meg is just perfect especially in today's time but it's still SO CRAZY seeing all of the commentary channels and drama channels and big time tv show people like jimmy fallon do videos about her and seeing her name trending like WOW y'all don't understand i used to write her lyrics down by ear in my notes because they weren't on the internet 😂😭 just in 2018 i remember that every time i was done with the world i would look up Meg and watch her old underground music videos and the few videos that there was about her at that time and just be in my meg world lol ❤️not to mention she generally saved me from my emotionally fucked up relationship by reminding me who i was of course but also in a deeper way because in late 2017 when that abusive relationship was at its prime state of fucked up I would sneak on instagram (sneak..yes.. relationshipGuy didn't let me go on instagram because he thought i was cheating and attracting too many dudes..just a lil reference for ya🤗👎) and one night I found meg from this female artist spam account ! Meg was in the studio dancing to her song 'Last Week in H Tx' and not only did i think Megan was SOO PRETTY AND HOT (nice because i was bitter towards women at this time due to low self esteem ect so it felt nice to be genuinely appreciative of another woman especially her appearance)(I fell in love with her body figure too which i could've also been easily envious of because of low esteem at the time) but I fell in love with her SONG 😍 im like yo who is this beautiful ass lady dancing to this dope song so that's what I asked and she told me it's "Megan Thee Stallion" so i look that up and find her instagram and she's a whole Instagram Rapper! I found the video I fell in love with and it said "Make it hot EP Coming Soon" WASN'T EVEN OUUTT YET !!! That's how long I been fucking with meg man anyways she had another video of her freestyling to Xxxtentacion (rip) "Look at Me" beat and that was basically the first full song I heard (studio version is called 'Stalli Freestyle' ) and bruh it was life changing to say the least , meg is so talented with her words let alone she says stuff that I think deep down and apparently she says what I need to hear... lemme get deep for a sec... I'm an only child (like meg!! Lol but anyways) and I never ever had trouble putting myself and my needs first but when I got with this emotionally abusive guy of course that selfishness i had changed because dude was always blaming me for everything and shit was fucked up and I put myself in a low spot simply just from staying with him let alone the bending over backwards for him like a straight fool and I know it may sound strange but meg helped me remember what I already knew. Not only that but the whole process of sneaking on instagram, finding her, being attracted to her, and becoming a fan of her music, was a whole turning point in itself. simply finding something that I PERSONALLY like and relate to on my OWN time for my OWN reasons with MY OWN opinion was GREAT especially because i hadnt done it in so long.. my only focus was relationshipGuy and trying not to rock the boat for him. It's probably not surprising but in that toxic relationship it was hard for me to keep enough energy for my own self and my own personal tastes and hobbies. This might sound like blah blah but something i've been doing for all of my whole life has been simply finding music I like and listening to it (pretty much everybody does this i know, but we can all agree that it's awesome and its another little thing that brings you happiness right) and I just stopped doing that when I was with him so finding meg musically was GREAT in that it eventually started my music search thing back up again!! I started being interested in music again ❤️❤️ Its crazy thou because after finding her.. I forgot!!! Months past but me and dude broke up within that time! It was after -- in that weird on&off stage after a toxic relationship -- when I was in the shower getting ready to go out and party (literally because relationship sad) with spotify playing my music.. IF you know spotify you know that they play recommend songs after your playlist ends....You already know where this going... after my playlist ended they played random shit until this one song... Last Week in H Tx -- THEE song --- first few seconds i was like this is nice. THEN THE VIDEO SNIPPET PART FROM INSTAGRAM (first meg vid i saw) PLAYED I WAS LIKE OHHHHHH WAIIIT I KNOWWWW THISSS SHITTTTT AHH it dropped but i had forgotten about everything but it FOUNDDD ME AGAINNN❤️❤️❤️❤️thank you spotify ❤️❤️I hearted the song then a few songs later "Cocky AF" came on and i didn't know it was meg but regardless i was already bopping my head to it then she said something about being CREOLE and IM CREOLE so i was like WTF who is this and ofc i saw that it was MEG AGAIN!!
