Taiwan got a mental health leave for students to apply. Up to 5 times a year, they can apply for mental health leave should they feel unwell. I think it's a good idea to have it in Singapore too.

I loled at the "diaspora Asian have it worse because of racism" angle because I grew up in Asia and got bullied for being darker in skin than my peers, received similar comments from family😆I moved to Australia as a 1st gen immigrant and no one has made any comments re: my skin colour or my accent. Now when I visit where I grew up, I get comments re: my "Western" accent all the time. It's a myth that racism or colourism does not exist in Asia.

Focusing too much on work doesn't allow people to invest into knowing and understanding themselves in depth. Lack of awareness, shame, ego and sometimes lack of money makes people not resort to help.

Society has many expectations but few requirements, I myself just do whats required and take the rest as optional, I'm far happier for it.
