The reason I bought mi 11 ultra because of 67 watt fast charging (+wireless as well) with big battery 5000 and the rear screen can use to take selfie 🤳 by using rear 📷 .and the chip is Snapdragon not exynos 😅 it pretty worth to buy as compare to Expensive Samsung S21 ultra (no Snapdragon chip in Malaysia)

I am dabbing into astrophotography (same with lots others trying to capture the northern lights, the moon, and the milky way). I can see a huge on the SKY DETAILS (background) captured in S21 ULTRA that I don't see captured in Mi 11. I am still using an old note10+ and planning on upgrading soon. I have seen what iphone 12 can capture at night even with their night hyperlapse and it seems that it is beating S21 ultra specifically on this feature. I want the portability of smartphones, and I wonder which smartphone is the best for night photography. I wonder if you could give pointers on this, or probably make a separate video about this. Be aware of the over heating problem! My S21 Ultra Snapdragon version overheats within seconds when video recording and shuts down automatically (prbly before it would explode). Samsung mentioned this issue would be solved with a software update which I am waiting for for 5 month already. Nothing happens and Samsung support would not even answer emails.

I'm hesitating, so I will wait until the MI 11 ultra is released in my country to compare the prices...

There is report from XDA Miui 12.5 on 11 ultra improved battery life and Ui is more smooth and even faster than Oxygen OS.Even no change log for camera update,but because the UI is lighter its improved camera performance especially in hdr photo processing

I bought the Mi 11 Ultra and it's an amazing phone. However, on the AT&T network, I'm only able to use it for calls and texts. No mobile data use. Kind of a bummer as this is such a nice phone.

Got my unit yesterday (Malaysia) it is so far a great device esp the camera. Compared to s21 ultra probably advantage of pricing, rear display (great photo for selfie with main camera/ wide camera), amazing charging speed and miui is great! Just concern a bit about the device getting a bit warm with long use n battery is draining fast. Overall best device with that price u paying.

Am I too early to decide between mi12ultra and s22 ultra? 😅 Used both brands. Love xiomy value for money but Samsung often give valuable gift upon purchase and telco offer reduce the price a lot. Love one ui a lot more than miui but the ir blaster is very2 useful and the backscreen looks tempting. But i missed the spen of my note9 quite a lot. Remote shutter, Taking off screen notes, translating texts. Though I'll surely appreciate fast charging and charger that come along with mi ultra

Hi Liam, in my country I bought S21U 512GB for 1100 euro and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will arrive at 930 euro for the 256GB. It bothers me a little the Exynos chip GPU is 20% weaker than Snapdragon 888 and tends to throttle. I was thinking if to change for the Xiaomi, I have played a bit with the MI 11 in their showroom and it tends to be a little hot and the software looks basic out of the box. Performance-wise seems good but it's also trust to consider. That being said, if these 2 phones were the same price which one would you prefer?

S21 Ultra, love mine!! in the USA

Things change when you're in Europe and have to stick with the Exynos version of the s21u. I'm trying to decide wich phone to get between them two... If we had access to the snapdragon it would be a no brainer... But between the exynos and the mi11u SD I think the mi11u is the more solid package with better camera capabilities, beter chipset and more room to improve. We have the exynos version for a few months now and it's still behind the snapdragon version! I can live with a few more milliseconds when opening an app or 3% less screen on time... But I cannot admit (as a photographer) having the same phone model with inferior camera quality because of using a diferent chip. My 2 cents! Keep on with the good work :)

Think I'm going for the mi 11 ultra as long as its 1k gbp or under Can I ask a couple questions.. 1. Do you find the close up shots and mid range shots on the mi 11 are nicer? More camera like and better background blur? And 2. Does it get caught on your pocket and stuff? I'm worried it's too big then with the extra bump it'll be too much but also I feel like the bump might be nice for holding it..

The Mi 11 Ultra looks awesome. I’m kinda tempted to buy it but I am nervous about switching from iOS to android. The last time I tried to switch with the Note 20 Ultra I was disappointed and ended up switching back to my iPhone XS. Can you test something for me? Set the headphone volume limiter and then turn the volume up to the max. Does it warn you that the volume is limited? If it does, does it give you the option to not remind again? I hated that about the note. I use volume limiter so I don’t blow my eardrums out but on the note it would warn me every time I turned the volume up that it’s limited. It’s like “I know it’s limited, I fricken set it to be limited!! Stop bothering me!!!”
