The longing to become an adult when you were young and yearning for the younger years was so powerful. I remember clearly being in sixth grade and my friends wanted to become adults to escape the pressures of homeworks and school. 25 years later and practicing meditation I realize how we’ve been denying ourselves of the present moment back in the day by wanting to become something that’s far into the future; a future that did not exist at the time.

Yes thats the way the system was designed to qualify and get greedy and selfish that the education system .monastic learning. school of indian philosophy adi shankaharaya lineage .do parents should send their children to these type of learning .like this person do it from an early age .the educational system from small wants you to be something in the future and sometimes a genuine soul fails because his mind daydreaming while learning .so he can't focus and fails his exams and he becomes a failure to everyone his parents teachers friends when everyone passes exams he fails they studied syllabus while the genuine soul wanted to genuinely learn everything but too playful and mind wandering one day this person wakes up by finding mindfulness and his journey now starts a new beginning he learns very easily by paying attention being aware becomes one pointed and can expand awareness and multitasking .that is ability to do many things at the same time. This was a lesson I learned .till I was introduced to . philosophy .yoga meditation . mindful and mindless ness .. continues to apply these principles till it becomes natural . meditation becomes natural and spontaneous .without any effort .as they say when you now start use effortless effort .till it dawn's on you as a natural part of your being .you realize your own awareness it's not meditation ,meditation Is something you want to aquire ,awareness is you. do become aware of your awareness . awareness watching awareness. The mind become still .by being present from moment to moment

after a year of meditating is was able to be aware of my awareness. it is like you see through your eyes with awarness. notice that awareness, that is looking through your eyes. the same with taste. notice the not the taste, but the awareness that is having the taste. you can be aware and feel your body, your skin. notice the awareness, what is feeling your skin. thats how to be aware of awareness. it makes your mind totally peaceful. thats a promise. even more peaceful than meditating about an object

This video has helped me understand my ruminating thoughts which I thought was uncontrollable. I'm not saying it totally got rid of it but it showed me a different perspective of how you can be aware of your thoughts when you are inside your spiral of thoughts. I think the way Mingyur Rinpoche explains meditation, It's just so easy and beautiful. God Bless him
@justinhamai46312 роки тому
I first read "The power of now" by Eckhart Tolle and now listening to Rinpoche, i have new understanding. You must first be aware of your unconscious then you can grasp the meaning of "being" Thank you...To the people that disliked this video, i pray that one day you understand.

DivakarRao Dasari, Meditation is the permanent way to a relaxed and stress free life because it reprogrames the mind. Enter "Anulom Vilom meditation videos" on Google search and do the simple meditation for 10 minutes if possible twice a day. Also read the benefits of Anulom Vilom breathing meditation. It can also be done sitting on a chair. Best wishes. Do meditation daily to enjoy a relaxed life. Best wishes--Shyaaam --Life Coach.

This guy definitely has wisdom about our mind and body, how it works with awareness like space works with a tornado and changes and goes back but space or awareness never change but stabilizes whatever your condition maybe: depression, panic, etc we get clarity and purity when we get more awareness. Smart guy!

What a fabulous way of teaching meditation by Mingyur Rinpoche that the awareness meditation makes you conscious of choosing the right ways in your daily life which makes your life full of happiness (e.g. helping others, love for humanity, compassion, and avoidance of anger, jealousy and hatred) . . . Good luck

@lew7085 років тому
This explanation is amazing! The mind/body connection is amazing...As I understand, the only difference is our awareness...It’s the same as if you have a job where you are on your feet all day, but go for a walk to exercise afterwards. You going for the walk and being aware of what you’re doing and why you are doing it makes a difference to the body....This is how I understand it to be.
@Lovehappy77772 роки тому
Thank u. Amazing!
@RaviAnnaswamy5 місяців тому
Beautifully said. Thanks. The touch of awareness - knowing that you are experiencing or doing something - transforms unconscious into conscious and frees you from the conditioning related to that experience or action. When you experience something you automatically react to it even when you think and act When you are aware of something and your action on it, you are freed. A larger perspective arises.

As a toddler I had the aware of awareness and grew up like that... Until all hell broke out and had to sacrifice all what I felt it made me alive. Now days I try to remember how as a child-teenager I did what I did with my mind because from time to time I kinda... Get back to it but the monkey mind and the rage quickly fix things back to hell. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, because somehow my body remembers more and more with your wisdom.
