@costasgeorgiou5015 that's an interesting and twisted perspective of what he said. If you're just reading the comments, I can see how one might take things out of context and try to make sense of it. I'm not saying it doesn't apply... but I also know we often say things "about ourselves".

To actually feel what it is to lose that means you have won before. And if you claim to have lost multiple times over you have to had a few wins. Study the wins and try to repeat it again. It's not luck if it has repeated in the past, you just forgot how to win.
@10CSA10
@10CSA10 Місяць тому
I think most high achievers carry this feeling. I look at the wins mostly but my mind is trying to make the best outcome of every situation which makes great opportunities as long as I am able to joogle family and near friends meanwhile. A big motivator for me is a closed community of only high achievers. Is it possible?

High achievers are lonely for a simple reason: Everybody is jealous/envious of your success. People want you to succeed but not more than them.

“Reminder that if you want to be exceptional you are going to be different from everyone else that’s what makes you exceptional . You can’t fit in and also be exceptional both are uncomfortable. When you fit in you have internal conflict because you are not 100% you. When you are exceptional you have external conflict because everyone sees you as different. PICK one. When your friends start to say you have changed remember that’s because they do not know how to say you have grown.”

Those are words I live by: I believe the vast majority of people has the POTENTIAL to be exceptional at any given field if they put REAL EFFORT and -SACRIFICE- into it But the vast majority is also not willing at all to take those trade offs. Would you be Usain Bolt, Neil Pearth or Michael Phelps if you really gave it all? Probably not. But how would you or anyone ever know if you would if you tried, without trying? This thinking helped me and keep helping me majorly in life, next week im gonna go on stage four different times: 2 times on drums, I only did it once before, 1st as backing vocals, 1st as bassist, and possibly even one more on the drums I accredit a very big part of this to the mentality and of course putting in the effort Feels great to be alive and see the fruits of hard work, lets gooooooo 🔥

It's a balance. If you are a people pleaser, then yes, the temptation is go the completely opposite end of the spectrum. We do want to give of ourselves in a relationship; fulfillment comes through that. So yes, being yourself 100% is a great goal, but you will still hope that there are those that love that 100% you.

I use to do a game with myself way back in the 90’s when people went to night clubs and danced and got layed . I would call it “ getting binned (aka rejected ) in 10 minutes. I would time myself 10 mins or get a mate to time me and I would approach a girl I liked the look of and just go up and talk to her and ask her for a dance 💃. It’s a facing rejection and it makes you more mentally stronger. I would get rejected 2 or 3 times but would get a bite on girl 4 or 5 and I would get that dance 💃 and al lot of the time I’d get much more. I never got to 10 rejections. This is such a good adrenaline rush and great for your confidence. Rejection does not kill you it makes you stronger . Women like confident men and walking up and talking to them makes you attractive to them even if your not there type they appreciate it because you have the balls to go over and approach her. I remember just being yo scared to approach a women because of the feeling of getting rejected. And one night I approached this chick and yes she was cool and I didn’t get any where with her but I felt so fking proud of myself just by going over to talk to her I was buzzing. And that was it I just I was hooked win loose . I would highly recommend it to young lads who are scared of approaching a women . Rejections won’t kill you and hey we all die anyway. Hope this Canto I’ve just typed helps someone 👍👍
