Gray callipers look so good imo. I don't think red would match the build because you have no other red parts on the parts. I would either change them to same yellow as the car or keep them gray. But its your build and do as you want and what makes you happy.

Hi Devin! At 1:27 when the wheels detach from those wooden ramps, the front left wheel turns a little to the left. You mentioned that you need to align the wheels, because it is not done. Even so, that wheel is not allowed to turn when it has escaped the weight of the car, unless the outer tie rod is not tightened in the steering knuckle. Greetings from Romania! 🍻 Ps: I advanced with the viewing and saw that you tightened the suspension height adjustment, and when you lifted the car to check the abs sensors, the wheel no longer had that movement. That was probably the cause.

Lets go... 💢💥👌👍💪 Change the seat belts to yellow for a touch. Just a suggestion try to make a VASYN plastic or rubber replacement for the wood you are using to partially lift the car for the lift, I;m sure that would sell fast!

Can you show what would Happen with the type r with a torrential rainfall with you hood dump exhaust setup.... Would water get into it? Or water into your intake because there's no filter??? Can't wait to see those custom tails!

Something simular to Azure blue #0080FF, maybe a slightly lighter shade blue but near to Azure, would be the colour i would paint the calipiers. But I guess it's up to you Devin.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Yellow and blue directly oppose each other on the color wheel, which is why they go so well together.

Hey devin i seen that you dain the water after getting the engine up to temp then added coolant after. Hopefully its after the engine cooled down and the video was just edited out. chances of stress cracks can happen from too fast of temperatures change with cold coolant added.

I love the yellow! So fitting for an Evo. I agree. I would love to see the Brembos another color. I would love to see something different than the red though. If you're going to re-powerdcoat them, would you be interested in trading my set of Evo 8 Brembos that are red and need to be powdercoated for your setup?

Hi devin I had to change clock spring on the my x. Did you do a calibration on the sas and do full lock to lock as I had to do this with mine just a thought something as simple as that can tho these codes look at the steering angle live with your steering straight make sure it is close to 0 as pos if it is above -15 or +15 it will throw codes for acd abs a sas and will not calibrate but like I said just a thought mate with what I went through

IMO powder coat the calipers yellow. It would match perfectly with the color of the car. Normally not a fan of a yellow car but now it’s done on this it’s changed my mind. Nice build.

I think if you were to do the callipers oem red, I would think that you should paint the valve cover red as they both match and the red callipers in red aren’t the only red.

A lot of cars will throw abs codes in the air like that. I'm a VW tech and whenever you drive em on the lift the ABS, Traction/Stability will always come on.

Newer cars that use acceleration data as well will do that, older simpler systems cannot know the difference

Love the caliper color but I def agree it blends in with the wheel and doesn’t Pop, can never go wrong with the OEM Red on them. Also, why not try Evo 7 tails ? Red tails would probably look really good on the Yellow
