that is exactly what the S3 is supposed to look like, customers who want even more sportyness go for the RS3, Audi doesn't want the S3 to look as good because then it would cannibalize its bigger brother.

They didn't do a good job in my view with the current A3 looks. Better engines and tech but outside has more plastics and fake vents. The previous A3 8V looked a lot better, and the S3 as well.

@@mrmorrisniceguy987 Now S3 and A3 S line at the front they are identical, with same grill and without badge. Prefacelift 8y S3 had badge and different front grill then A3 sline

@@milinddixit6583 Wrong. You could walk past an 8V RS3 and not even notice it. The stupid pop up screen inside and dated interior did it no favours, as well as the flawed driving position. It handled like a bar of soap and the brakes weren't that great when you leant on them I owned one for two year. I now have the 8Y RS3 and wow, just wow. Looks wise, in another league, it gets so many heads turning, never had that with the last car. It's way better to drive and at last, you can get comfortable in it. Tech wise it's a big step up and no more stupid pop up screen. I've ceramics on mine and the full carbon exterior pack, it's awesome. Anyone who thinks the previous generation was better is either dumb or trying to kid themselves, usually because they can't afford the new car. Probably haven't driven one as well.

@@mrmorrisniceguy987 I understand what you mean and you're right. However, the predecessors were already much more different from each other. It's just my opinion that I think the S3 should stand out a bit more visually from a base model. That's how it was in the past.

Chromo package is reserved only for S3.

​@@dominikarpas7558 That might be your opinion. I'm just tired of seeing this chinese inspired overstyling on new cars, BMW is the perfect example. That rear diffuser (or however that thing is called) just looks so unnecessarily big, it's almost the size of the bumper itself. 8V S3 looked just right IMO.

Ice engines are ending. They could buff the rs3 to 450hp and the s3 to 350

@@Bat02051 More like what's the point of YOURS? Many people ask about fitment of tow bar to RS3. I have an 8Y RS3 and did look into it, handy I could use it for towing the fishing boat, instead of using the truck. Get it? Now off you go.

@@mauricetoussaint7283 I'd never come up with an idea of towing sth with an rs3, but even for a bike rack. Of course one can get a roof rack, but since I already have a tow hitch mounted rack + it's more comfortable.

Yep, you have faster shifting and response when you are on the go. In launch control mode you never feel that but in dynamic plus mode it’s definitely there👌

The standard Golf R will have 333hp but the peeformance version definitely will have more i suggest 350. Lets see. Because Golf R actualy existed in two wariants in latest time after 333 version. One was standard with 320hp and peeformance with 333hp just like 20th edition and 333edition. Now they say standard Golf R facelift will get 333hp and nobody say anything about performance version. 100% it will have more power because they want to separate it from standard one and offcourse from S3. Bear in mind its 50th anvrs. So something like 350 is i thing for performance Golf R. ​@@Automann-TV

I think 266 km/h is the max…..should be limited there. The Golf with the same engine runs 290 km/h on speedo, so there’s more in it, you’re right👍

The I30N is just annoyingly loud, which you people compare to "sportiness". VW cars will never scream and shout from factory. I think the S3 has a nice, mature sound. The I30N is a good car for young people. The S3 costs almost twice as much.

Do not forget that this is a MY2025 car and they will stop building the i30N this year, no successor. So again, those are different regulations they are coping with….and as @t3chn0m0 said, two different customer target groups😉

in this engine - gen 4 if you change intercooler -1k + downpipe 800 + turbo garret powermax - 2k - you get 500+ hp :)
