Heather's stolen bike story got me -pissed off- angry. Brings back a few times when I was a kid and one or both parents accused me of something I did not do and the parents were 100% certain I was lying. I was not the type to tell BS stories or make stuff up. As a kid, there is nothing you can do about it. I feel worse knowing Heather had to relive the same accusations over and over. I learned a lesson what NOT to do as a parent. Great story though. They all were.

I wonder if she had not been so frightened if she could have "asked" for the return of her bike.....I have before and they returned what I requested. I also have a "knee jerk" reaction to the beating she got....so cruel to tell a child they are lying and then whip them....but I have my own scars as you yourself have. Peace and Good Will.

One heather to another, I'm so sorry the bigfoot took that bike. I cant help but feel like the whole thing was done in mischief, not anger or anything. Sad the father is so stuck in his ways he cannot conceive his child didnt lie about the missing bike, and that he abused her for it. It really bothers me. It makes me sick to my stomach upset at that darn Dad that wouldn't believe his child. The child was traumatized twice. First from bigfoot then from the Dad beating them. I would never treat my kids like that no matter what was lost or how obscure the story was. Parents are supposed to comfort and guide children not beat and yell at them.

Heather, I'm sorry, but your encounter really got to me. I became so angry with your father. Absolute BS how parents don't believe their children, but he went way too far by giving you that beating!! I'm 53 and can remember my parents buying me a Nikon EM 35mm camera with all the attachments i.e. close up lenses, zoom, wide-angle etc. I absolutely loved it. I brought it up to Portland and had it stolen from in front of a Circle K. When I told my parents what happened I was accused of hocking it at a pawn shop and it broke my heart. At that point my feeling for my parents changed a bit. I feel for you and anyone else out there who's parents have betrayed them in this way. It is a betrayal!

Yes, God bless you. Am getting over Covid. No grocery delivery for 2-3 weeks. Picked up pecans before the 🦧 got them all. Never made a pecan pie before, but may try. At least I can have a slice of pie ?! Lol Bean burrito tonight...can't taste it !!.

I blame the father for not knowing his little girl well enough to believe her. That is a poor parent indeed. I got my daughter a fancy bike like that and the first time she rode it to the grocery store it was stolen. I felt bad for her, not that a scumbag had stolen it.

Heather, I hope you see this maybe I can help you move past this incident. A lot of the Bigfoot have a very strange sense of humor. They are practical jokers so to speak . You are right on the money with your assessment about it waiting there. He knew your habits and it was observing the pattern of what you were doing. He was probably was laughing. I am guessing the vocalization sounded a bit like this PHONETICALLY. ,WHAH? He might have taken the bike the show his family. They may have never seen such a thing before. On the other hand he could have taken it because he was just being a jerk. I can pretty much say with certainty that he watched what transpired after that. If he felt guilty about it he would have brought the bicycle back. Their sense of humor is often more like The Three Stooges versus Jack Benny if that makes any sense. Childlike yes. I'm sorry your family never believed you but that is usually the case. I hope this will give you some closure. This individual may have also been what is called a traveler and maybe I will tell the audience about that someday

Dear Heather, Much like the girl on the minibike who got chased, man can I relate to both !!. TRUE. . I KNOW that darned thing waited for you to pass again--, and I am convinced that if you were being a "distraction" from their hunt, making a scene or spooking the game animals, one of them WOULD INTERVENE.After all, the goal was to stop you ,and taking your bike did the trick, Heather. My parents had a hard time listening to me, esp. Dad. Sorry things went on and on for you like it did. Things that didn't make sense to my Dad...let's just say he was relentless about it. Never once did he consider it was "showing up" when he was gone for the obvious reasons !. Your bike is probably still up a tree somewhere, my friend . If you need to talk, I will share and relate., not rat you out.

The fact that she left her bike might inadvertently be giving Bigfoot the message that she doesn't want it anymore. Bigfoot may have taken it thinking it was a gift. Bigfoot might also be curious about the contraption. And the fact that her bike would have her scent on it. Don't forget she also wet herself there. Bigfoot was playing with her like a school bully. Now he has a souvenir from her so he can always remember teasing her. Better that he took her bike than if he had taken her. Right? -OG

I saw a video a few years ago by a hiker who found a big pile of bikes and bike parts in the mountains, far from civilization and roads. There was also some clothing and camping gear. I don’t remember where it was, but maybe some Sasquatch get fascinated by people things. Poor Heather. What an awful memory and the damage it did to her relationship with her father.

I grew up watching the Bigfoot episodes on the Six Million Dollar Man show. Loved that series. I'd be curious to know what the real Bigfoot would think if he saw the 7 foot four actor Andre the Giant pretending to be Bigfoot in costume out in the woods. Just as he was in the show. I lived their in Vancouver Washington and seen the big fellow. Also talked to alot of loggers they came into contact with bigfoot all the time. In 1980 when the mountain blew they hauled alot of them off the mountain

This 1st story is the 2nd time I have heard a story regarding someone doing Bob White whistles at a bigfoot. I used to do that as a child and didn't know that it was a bigfoot! Not until much later that is!.. Incredible! I have a black panther story as well! I'm only 11 minutes into these stories and can't believe the similarities! Great job, Nance!

In honor of the first person who sent in the voice clip the man named "Cliff, the next time you have a segment where you use somebody's voice clip, why don't you call that segment "Cliff Notes" ?
