Within rap, there are two sides: the lyrical rapper vs the mumble rappers. Both sides have different beliefs on what real rap is and what it should be made of. On the lyrical rapper's side, we have artists like Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole who truly believe rap should be focused around the lyrics and rhymes you use rather than the beat and adlibs. While with mumble rap they often all rap about the same stuff and lack “originality”. One rapper who really does not like mumble rapping is Eminem.
