If you want to do a fast rushed base, only upgrade your storage and lab until you get to th12, so you'll not be stopped cuz u miss storage and since u have to wait so long at th12 to get your th upgrade u'll have time to upgrade your camps and baracks

The thing about rushing is no clan would want you in war cause you’re a liability in defence, the rate of you getting ores are a lot slower than if you were to be a max TH8 TH9 unless you get a clan that doesn’t care if you’re rushed and could reliably win.

Some clans are dedicated to rushed bases only and with my main account, I am in a clan that trusts me quiet a bit so they allow me to have the rushed account in there, for cleaning up bottom bases in war

It doesn't ruin the game however the sense of achievement is destroyed completely like imagine spending 6 months and then going to th 14 vs just spending a month on th 13 and then moving to th14 what do you think would feel better?
