I’m a retired cosmetologist. The best thing you can do for your hair is give it a break from pulling it back. It stretches the hair therefore adding to breakage. Also be careful not to use products containing lots of protein. It’s good yo strengthen, but too mush can actually cause breakage and thinning.

who are you jaclyn?!?!? SO MUCH difference from previous videos to now. I don't know if people are telling you or not - your physical transformation is so good and obvious at this point, but your internal transformation is SHOWING THROUGH. I can tell you've done some hard work internally and I'm sooooo happy for you. I'm literally at the half way point of the video and paused it just so I can comment. I remember being 18 in 2013 and getting a UKposts account just so I could subscribe to Jaclyn Hill and sit in front of a mirror with some makeup and your videos playing and learn how to do the damn thing. You always were such a friendly, warm, light presence, and I have missed this so much!

For telling the young ladies that the reason you are there is to tell them that just ONE blush, that is really good quality - IF they can afford it is all they need and that you have done the leg work for them. They don't need all the blushes, creams, lip tints, concealers, etc. that you have - just choose one. And go with it. I feel like this year 2024 A LOT of us are in our glow up era! I totally agree with the fact that good TRUE cool-tone nude lip colors are almost impossible to find. I am a naked mole rat with a very cool pink undertone and literally everything looks orange on me. EVERYTHING.

we get it... your brand is closing. girl, that was your choice and we support u. but u can't get mad when your products won't be around. u gotta take the bad with the good. and u kinda passively aggressively insulted gaga's brand. not cool. being kind costs $0. being shady or cruel costs u a lot. i'm bummed because i had ur back through all the drama but this video was nothig but a shameless plug and bashing other brands that u claimed to love...and saying u were the first to think of certain highlighter formulas. i have never turned my back on a youtuber until now. i do wish u well in continuing to stay sober because u look much happier and healthier but i can't get down with this vibe. best of luck.
