Yaaay onwards and upwards ( in 2nd gear at least 🙂 ) Know what you mean about the the banks and weight of the van, they do struggle, makes it fun though 🙂 Stick a tuning box on Betty, better fuel economy and more power, look at Racechip and TDI Tuning, i have a TDI tuning box on our van and really does make a difference. Oh Becca that first few seconds really got me in my emotional centre❤ What a rebirth for you from looking death in the face and now, looking life ahead. No wonder you are so emotional. It would be a huge step for any of us but for you, having gone through what you did, this is nothing short of monumental. This video more than any Ive watched from any youtuber other than the fabulous Mandy (whose story echoes yours from John and Mandy), absoloutely shouts "One life LIVE IT!" you should deffo seek out like minded people to bimble with. I have mental health issues and struggle to travel alone. I've spent two years rebuilding Viv and being driven to use her to get a life, yet I'll turn round as soon as I go off anywhere and go back home. When I know I;'m going to be with friends, I'm ok with going out in Viv. Ive found it builds my confidence and I'm sure you feel the same- though I really do admire you settling into solo van life. You're doing it!!! Its incredible!!! I'm so proud of how you fought to get where you are and the seemingly impossibe battle you won! You are quite simply amazing and every tear you shed is a testament to where you have come. Can I say also that you brought back many happy memories of my blue cream long haired Persian Mysha. She loved vanlife when I went away with my late mum and loved going on harness and lead. I believe Savannah is going t be the furbie star of the show. I am literally right behind you in both my van build progress and the fact that I live in Sheffield. Loved this video. I have cats and I am anxious that they might not like it. You've given me some hope that they will adapt ok. My eldest is 20 and loved my last van but another is 12 and a stress head. She is just getting over both kidney issues and cancer. She's doing really well but still a bit to go before back to normal. Love to you both xxx and pops.
