Finished the movie last night. Really enjoyed the growth of Joel’s character when he stopped being racist against c-sectioned peoples after he c-sectioned the pee out of his friends and learned that sometimes c-sections are necessary when you can’t get something out of your genitals.

I've lost track of how many times I've watched this film. It's incredible, really. The comedic timing, the obviously improv'd bits from the three of you, and of course the always amazing Dax Flame cameo. It might be my favorite movie of the year, next to Godzilla Minus One.

The movie is hilarious. I watched it on christmas eve, the same day one of my best mates was having a baby and they had a seccy. I had to learn the same lesson as you in real time. Thank you for helping me.

A moment of silence for joels dry but being attacked maliciously by various liquids

Trying to figure out how the movie was made, imagining you guys sitting in a room and improvising jokes and plotlines as you're watching it just adds another layer of entertainment to an already funny movie. I can really tell you had a blast making it. And the animation was genuinely good, loved all of the different poses and expressions. Thank you, goodlongpee. It was unexpected, but so appreciated. When I clicked to watch I was thinking I would just click and skim through to check it out, but that lobotomy inducing seizure at the start made me fall out of my chair laughing. I have no clue why. Anyways I stuck around and it's my 2023 movie of the year.

This movie was genuinely one of the entertaining movies I've seen in a while, and I don't know what that says about me or you but god damnit thank you for your hard work Joel, Trent, and Alex. God Peed

The goodlongpee the movie is an absolute masterpeece. I was a bit sad about the lack of glp content after that glorious month of GLP, but this more than made up for it!

It was so much more abrasive than I expected haha. Like dialogue wise it totally clicks, it's really just seeing actual visuals for that kind of humor that was shocking haha. Nastier than David Firth! Probably won't watch it again but I did enjoy it. I think the bit around college leading up to the no pee curse was my favorite but overall my favorite jokes are always when you improv one up each other like the whole chester bit. I also seriously love goodlongpee in general.

Irony aside, GLP is one of my favourite channels that i'm constantly revisiting and i was overjoyed to see this upload, it absolutely has your style despite it's incoherent juvenile insanty and i will definitley be revisiting it over and over again.

I went on a joel haver feature film spree last night, ended up watching Goodlongpee straight after Pretend That You Love Me. From bawling my eyes out at all the Jack Haver scenes to ending up cry laughing straight after was one unforgettable night!!! It really inspired me to start filmmaking myself, and I have promptly started making videos I feel should be out there on this platform! Thank you Joel and goodlongpee!

Joel I really appreciate how you are able to make stuff on zero budget. Anyone can do this, even I could if I ever want to. There’s no high skill thing you need to be able to do it either, if you put in the effort you really can just make something cool.

I laughed harder than I have laughed at any movie for a very long time. It was so clear that you all had so much fun doing the voice acting and making the movie, and that was contagious. Thank you so much for making so many amazing movies with such a wide range of subjects, they're always such a joy to experience! I also didn't know of goodlongpee's existence until the movie came out and I have been watching a lot of them, they're so funny.

while watching i had a “end of ratatouille”- style flashback to filming a very specific video with my friend in elementary school. it was a 5(?) second clip of him holding a broken gun toy and screaming “Gun: The Movie! Coming soon to theaters.” it wasn’t funny in the slightest but I remember us laughing a lot at that back then. not really sure what my point was with this comment but your movie reminded me of all the shitposts my friends and i made before shitposting was a thing. leave it to y’all to make a movie called “goodlongpee” cause someone to get emotional hahahaa :)

my friends and I used to make movies in high school. We'd come up with a basic concept and then spend the night piecing it together as we went. Very Similar to your ventures, Joel. But we just made them for ourselves and our friends. This reminded me of it a lot, it was a lot of fun and if youtube had been bigger at the time we'd probably have been doing the same thing you are today.

I thought it looked like it had been done in Premiere! I could kinda see how I would've hacked it together in Premiere but didn't think you would've committed to putting in that much effort for a feature, that's nuts!

Hearing about and watching your movies has made me happy about all of the movies my friends and I have made and posted. It makes me feel like we’re doing more than making stupid ass videos, and makes me feel like as goofy as we are, we’re makin movies. So thank you for helping me realize that while making goofy shit with my friends, we’re, in our own way, making art.

Im so glad you brought up the accessibility. I remember being inspired by Fantastic Planet to make a few animations a while back in a similar style and its honestly amazing how versatile the tools are for storytelling. Often theres a stigma around animation due to how difficult it can be, so I’m glad there are simpler more accessible methods and im happy to see this style getting more love!

I was honestly pretty disappointed to see the movie retcon the classic goodlongpee short "goodlongpee lore," which clearly showed joel teamed up with trent chronologically before they onboarded alex. just weak storytelling tbh, if not "alternative facts"-style historical revisionism.
