I can feel why she reacts like this when he kissed her, she just realized her dad is dead cos of her, whom she's been misunderstanding & angry for more than 10yrs. She felt awful & regretful abt herself & her dad due to self guilt, they went tgt to the place her dad died, & she's grieving. he kissed suddenly deeply by giving her his power which he would die instead after. She responded to his kiss but then felt strange as if sth wrong with that kiss (cos of the power transferring thing). & she guessed it she doesnt want it but he's holding her deeply. So i think she acts pretty well.

I m a bit surprised why people kept saying the rating of this drama was low. Getting 3% rating in general for TVN paid cable dramas (hs a far smaller audience base) is considered to be quite good in Korea. Besides, i think the chemistry between both leads r great esp during the last few episodes as their relationship intensified n strengthened. Top marks for finale! Shin Se Kyung is such a talented actress, i love the way she handled the crying scenes, Very beautifully executed!

I got the impression that they were really attracted to each other while filming this series. From the get-go their chemistry was off the charts! Whatever scene he was in with Shin, he appeared to be so connected to the actress. He had those sorrowful eyes so you could read the character so easily, and that sadness he had because he knew he had to leave eventually really gave me a lump in my throat throughout the whole entire show. I liked how protective he was too. And the jealousy was an honest reaction as if he were a human. Spoiler. I'm sad there wasn't more of a romantic ending when they went back to her place knowing they could finally be together until it was her time to die (assuming she lives another 40-50 years). I wish he would have carried her off to the bedroom at least. I just want more. I'm going through withdrawal now. I need to buy this series just because it's special. I also need to rewatch it on Netflix. I can't let it go... I'm sad he's going off into the military soon. No newer tv series for a while...
