+ripppking +First of all, he could've slipped. Second of all, it is harder to dunk jumping on a human and dunking than to just regurlarly dunk. No it didn't help him, it actually decreased his momentum, thus he barely made the dunk, rewatch the clip. Imo this was a 9. If he had ended it a little more creative, easily a 10. Easy to say for me of course, but that was an impressive dunk.

Similarly, doing a front flip while dunking off a mini-trampoline looks like it might be quite difficult, but it wouldn't fly in an NBA dunk contest because, again, it wouldn't be the player dunking himself. Personally, I've seen middle schoolers jump off their friend's backs for one-handed dunks. It can be dangerous, but it never appeared to be terribly difficult; and it most certainly should not have a place in an NBA dunk contest.
