День томуOn Dec. 12, six more games will be added to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System™ - Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Entertainment System™ - Nintendo Switch Online collections.
Super NES™
• Star Fox™ 2 - This 3D rail-shooter and second installment of the Star Fox series was first
designed for the Super NES, but went unreleased until it appeared on the Super
Nintendo Entertainment System™: Super NES Classic Edition system in 2017. This time,
Emperor Andross is on a crusade to conquer the Lylat system and the Star Fox team
itself. After a long wait, Star Fox is back in action.
• Super Punch-Out!!™ - Featuring the tight gameplay and humor the series is known for,
this sequel to the NES classic sees Little Mac return to the ring with the World Video
Boxing Association belt once again at stake.
• Kirby Super Star™ - That awful King Dedede is at it again - he’s stolen all the food in
Dream Land. It’s up to Kirby to get it back and ultimately save Popstar from being taken
over. There’s never a dull moment as Kirby dashes, flies and fights!
• Breath of Fire II - Set 500 years after the original, take on the role of Ryu, the last
member of the Dragon Clan. A cast of unusual and exciting companions join you in your

Rare was the developer and not the publisher, so Nintendo still owns them. The games are on the Wii U Eshop with Rare logos and everything.

How come all NES Sunsoft games have music that’s this kickass??? Journey to Silius is by far the best NES soundtrack you’ve never heard about. So happy with these 6 games. Every month without EB Beginnings on this service gives me hope they’re saving it for the totally real Earthbound Trilogy they’re cooking up, right? RIGHT?!

Sunsoft did some amazing things with their NES games when it came to songs. Using some techniques to have the square waves make sounds not normally heard in the majority of NES games, their Drum sample they used in the DMC audio channel in almost all of their games, and, on occasion, they had extra hardware on the game’s cartridge that added a sound channel that they had full control over. (The Japanese version of Gimmick! (Or Mr. Gimmick) is one of their games with extra hardware.) Edit: Accidentally called the DMC channel the “PCM channel”.

I loved Crystalis so much when I was little. Great Action RPG. Great Story, well put together little game. It's a MUST have. Will reminisce with this game over the holidays.

Fun Fact: I read somewhere that "Journey to Silius" was supposed to be a Terminator game, but Sunsoft somehow lost the license for the franchise, thus "Journey to Silius" was born.

High Definition that doesn’t matter. Rare may be the developer but Nintendo is still the publisher and the IP holder. Nintendo 100% owns the DKC games and DK64.

@@kahrahnoel814 Yep, Konami would rather people buy the CV Collection. That isn't a bad thing though as it's actually a good collection (one of the few things Konami didn't screw up recently). Same with Contra 3, you'll just have to get the Contra Collection to play that (but you also get Hard Corps and the NES games with it so it's absolutely worth it).

"Where is X game?". Literally everyone in every NES and SNES video. See, that's the problem with the service Nintendo. Switch is gonna be 3 years old and we only got NES and SNES games. And they arrive so slowly that even years after the release of the service, there are still many beloved games missing. Just bring back the Virtual Console. Put every Nintendo console on it. Put every important game on it. Let people buy the game they want.

Eaethbound Conspiracy brain time: The reason why nintendo isnt releasing Earthbound Beginnings or Earthbound on NSO is because they're making an Earthbound trilogy pack which will see the release of Mother 3 to the West. Or Nintendo is big dumb and just isnt doing it because they dont feel like it.

Earthbound isn’t as simple to implement as many people believe. There’s some crazy tech running in the game like a Lighting Engine. There’s also the game’s Anti-Piracy stuff that they need to make sure will never trigger when playing the game on this new hardware. The game will come out once these hurdles have been taken care of.

The real tragedy is that SNK pretty much abandoned the IP and never bothered with a sequel. Or with cameos in King of Fighters. The magic system in particular had so much potential!

Journey to Silius has one of the most rockin soundtracks on the NES. Crystalis is absolutely amazing! Its a good thing I've got the SNK Collection. Sunsoft needs to make a collection too.

Super Star should have been at launch, but I can not believe Journey to Silius made it. Arguably the best soundtrack on the NES. Stage Theme 01 is incredible. I am looking forward to playing it.

Stephen Archuleta I think I did heard the development team who were working on Star Fox 2 managed to finished making the game sometime in the Nintendo 64 era after Star Fox 64 released. I don't think they'll add that 2017 year in Star Fox 2 since this was completed before 2017.

@@waluigi3515 The USB cable that comes with the system is what you use to connect it to the PC. I'd recommend following a video guide step by step; it's what I used in order to hack mine and it was worth the time imo.
