Not a fan of either sides but seeing Trippier in the midst of the disappointment of being handed the red card walking to De Bruyne (before going off the field) to apologize just took to a new level of respect for him. For me, this will be what I'll celebrate most about this match.

Maxi has come a long way under Howe, and with good players around him like Trippier. He's always been a magician on the ball but never used to see the pass. He's seeing everything now. If he could just strike the ball better to grab himself some goals, he'd be a world elite player. He's not far off it on today's performance regardless. Hope he keeps it up.
