Super Mario RPG is a classic gem!!! The fact that they only made one and then went to the paper Mario and Mario and Luigi rpgs has been so disappointing for me. They are nowhere near as good.

The good games could be added so quickly and easily, but they don't do it, they mostly add games no one's ever heard of for good reason. That's why it gets bombed so much. But finally they add one of the actual amazing games for the SNES since Kirby Superstar and Super Punch out

I've been a lot more satisfied since the SNES catalog launched with a solid foundation and more games have been slowly rolling in. Could it be done better? Sure. But, all that you're getting is pretty great for the $20/yr. Maybe two months from now we'll start getting some GB(C) and N64 games as well.

DKC is something I have wanted for a long time on the Switch. What I'm still hoping for and which would be one of the coolest releases you could possibly do if it ever happens is to make all the original Final Fantasy -titles available for NES and SNES. It would not only make us who are already fans very happy, but it could possibly result in making alot of people who doesn't own a Switch buy one, it's that big!

@@Tunabreath2001 Yeah it's still there. Just checked. Should be right at the top with a bigger preview image than the games below it. Make sure you're going into SNES and not NES. And if you haven't opened the software in a while, you might need to scroll up and uncover the new available games. That's all I can think of, because I still have it on my Switch Online app.

For those who have no idea. You have to download from the shop under Nintendo Switch Online. Once you do so you have to download one of the free special offers - Super Nintendo Entertainment System which consists of super nintendo games. Once you do so there will be an update unless if you already downloaded it just update it. The game should now be available.

DKC is one of the best games ever made period. I got the 101% when I was a kid, now I'd have to try to remember everything lol. I hope they put DKC2 and DKC3 too as well as Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and for NES Blades of Steel, they must put this game on there the best hockey game on the entire system easily!!

Turtles in Time won't happen. Konami no longer owns the license to it and has never shown any interest in renewing it. (it expired back in 2009, where Turtles In Time and TMNT 2 were removed from PSN and Xbox Arcade).

When SNES Switch Online was released, I thought that every month we'd be getting 3 games for NES Switch Online and another 3 games for SNES Switch Online (because that's how it worked before), but now on July 15, over 10 months after SNES Switch Online's launch, we'll have only gotten 11 new SNES Switch Online games, most of which nobody wanted. There are so many SNES games that I want to play for the first time, like EarthBound and Super Mario RPG, and I was so excited for those games to be released... but they weren't. I can't say that I haven't had a lot of fun playing hours and hours of SNES Switch Online, but it's a big disappointment compared to what I thought it was going to be.

For these three specifically, the publishing rights don't belong to Nintendo anymore, as in Nintendo has to pay for their use. I think they were on the backburner for so long because they needed to get EA, Natsume and Microsoft to agree to their fair use.

@Interfacer It's really good, and in my opinion it's aged better than some of Square's RPGs on the SNES. Most people want it because it hasn't been re-released nearly as often as Nintendo's other titles. If you like comedic games and turn-based RPGs, EarthBound is the game for you.
