This is by FAR one of the best Super Mario video games ever made. If you like Mario, then you'll DEFINETLY love this game. I wish I could get it, but I don't own a Wii U.

Game is 11/10. I rented it like 3 times then decided that I should really just buy it because it's just that darn good.

This was my first Wii U game and it NEEDS a switch port.

I really respect Nintendo for being the only company still making creative, thoughtful games suitable for kids/families. It's hard for parents when the biggest games out there now are GTA, Call of Duty, Fifa etc. I really hope the Wii U doesn't tank

i can't believe its been nine years since i was sitting in my old house's kitchen watching WiiLikeToPlay play this whole game on my mom's really old window's computer. Time flies man.

When this game is going to be on Switch

Man, back in 2013. I never owned a Wii U and when I learned about this game, I wanted it immediately because of the HD. I thought 3D Land was sucky with graphics, but I still liked it. Anyways, seeing it made me excited, especially with the HD, lighting, and effects. I actually never got a Wii U or this game, so it made me sad. 7 years later (2021 is coming) it's coming to the Switch where I own one. Now, it truly is an epic miracle.

im really glad that most of these wii u games got another shot at redemption in terms of sales on the switch because these are genuinely great games but they were stranded on the wii u.

Let me just say this game looks amazing. I'm really glad I got my Wii U a couple weeks ago. There are a lot of great games coming this Holiday season and in 2014 for the Wii U. I hope people don't overlook it this Holiday season.

This is one of the best mario games ever. I love Odyssey, Sunshine, Galaxy, 64, and THIS GEM

the thing i like the most about this game is the fact that it marks some innovations (new power ups, multiplayer in a totally 3d world etc), but still it adopts features of the past, like the possibility to choose 4 different characters (the 4 from super mario bros 2), each with a particular ability :)

to everyone who cried because of how “bad” it was: I thought this game was FANTASTIC! Sure it was only a half 3D (3D but with 2D like gameplay) but it was really awesome. I thought the level designs were great and memorable, especially the bowser fight. I guess im in the minority who thinks its good, but I loved this game so much.

Nintendo makes some great, in-depth previews of games. You really get to know the product your potentially buying, unlike when I was a kid and all you had was the back of the box.

I just now realized something.. In every stage in the game that "requires you to end the stage by grabbing onto the flagpole", if you mess up alot, a White Tanooki Power-Up Box will appear... But when you get to Champion's Road (the final level of the game for those who haven't played this game), no matter how many times you die, you will never be able to get it in that stage... Nintendo is merciless haha good on you Nintendo for stepping up your difficulty in this game!! :D
